Couple scenarios I've been wondering about.

1. If I hit the head with a cERPPC, will 2.5 dmg arc anywhere or is it lost?

2. If I hit a destroyed, lets say, arm, does that equate to 7.5 dmg (10/2 + 2.5) to the side? If so, it certainly makes hitting destroyed components pretty efficient.

the head thing can easily be testing in training grounds. I'm pretty curious myself, maybe you could post what happens if u can test it.

Yeah, I was going to test it whenever I was able to get on next, assuming no one replied. Ill check later unless someone beats me to it.

So, I tested it just now, and interestingly enough, 2.5 dmg transfers to the CT when hitting the head. I honestly assumed the dmg was lost.

The more you know . . .

We could alwasy try it in the testing ground map. Go find a target mech, and shoot it in the head.

Just the center torso? It is supposed to be 2.5 damage to two different locations for a total of 5 damage transfer except in the case of hitting an arm or a leg where it apparently decides it only transfers to one other location.

Well logically speaking only 1 part is adjacent to arm/leg/head.

CT connects to head, RT, LT, LL, RL
LT connects to CT, LA
RT connects to CT, RA and so on.

RA is only connect to RT. LA is only connect to LT. Head is only connected to CT.

Well logically speaking the left arm is connected to both the front left torso and the rear left torso, and the right arm is connected to both the front right torso and the rear right torso. As for the head it is connected to all of the torso sections, or if you really want to separate it then it is still connected to both the front and back torso of whatever section it sits on.(Right torso in the case of the Summoner) If you don't want the damage arcing to the back then when you hit the arm or leg or head 5 damage should arc to the one side torso instead of some of the energy just magically evaporating.

I'm just surprised it transferred at all. Hitting CT wont transfer to head (thank god) so I assumed the reverse was also true. This information certainly won't change anyone's play style, but it's still interesting.
