I am considering selling my Banshee 3S since I now have a DDC.
I don't normally run energy heavy builds, so the two seem to make the same sort of loadouts for me, and the DDC has ECM and two arms.
Any arguments FOR the Banshee 3S or should I just dump it?
(I also have a Banshee 3E which I love)

I'd rather have a mech and not need it than need it and not have it.
or
I'd rather have a mech and not need it than want to use it later and not have it.
Unless your mechbays are full.... then I'd still say buy more mechbays.
Its nice to have variety.

Just from eyeballing:
A D-DC usually has less firepower and is easily neutered by shooting off its prolific side torsi. The Banshee 3S, with its head and CT energy hardpoints, have less of that kind of issue, and frankly, it packs more firepower overall. On the flip side, the Atlas has more armour, 2 more missile slots, 1 more ballistic slot, and aforementioned ECM capacity. Oh, and the Command Console, once it becomes useful.
If you like having more of a support role, then you may like the D-DC. I'd say to keep both first, run them separately, and see what style appeals to you.

The Banshee 3S is a royal terd. I recommend dumping it. The D-DC is a better mech all around, even without considering ECM.

The 3S runs a little hot, but it lasts longer in combat whilst the DDC is typically useless upon losing a torso. That said, the ECM is invaluable if your team knows how to use it. It also makes a difference what map you're running. So it kinda depends on what you're looking for.

Okay thanks guys. I do normally play more support fire type roles.
As a peasant F2P player i only usually keep the Mechs I like. (BNC 3E, Raven 3L, Jager S, DDC). I'll keep it for now since I have 1 free mech bay still and a Thunderbolt 9SE on the chopping block.

ECM is very powerful, though once people notice you, almost nothing in the game draws the hate of a DDC Atlas.
The Banshee-S produces good, all-around builds - not unlike the Atlas in some ways (bunch of energy, some ballistics and missiles, etc.)

Ok I too thought my Banshee 3S was just the 3rd gimpy one I needed to master my 3E and 3M which I've been loving more than anything else I own but after reading this post I went back and refitted my 3S with the following:
335XL, 6x MPLs (chainfiring as fast as you can hit them) 2x ER LL for long range sniping, and LBX-10. I went to standard structure and freed up enough slots for 9 DHS (19 HS?).
Banshee BNC-3S
First run out the gate with this thing was Mordor and I didn't overheat ridiculously. 3 kills, 6 assists, 582 damage and 10 component destruction. I now officially like it better than my 3M
Banshee BNC-3M
These things tank and tank taking huge punishment and move pretty fast at 62-64 KPH with Speed Tweak. I'd take them over the Atlas any day.
Here's my Dakka Banshee BNC-3E I love
