My wife had 2 drops today on her account where her mech went haywire. It was walking around, shooting, looking around and generally acting haunted. It seemed to have a disoriented pilot in control of the mech and her control was locked out. The second time she disconnected from the game which did stop the mech and fortunately it hasn't happened again. Has anyone ever heard of this?
We couldn't tell if there was another pilot in direct control or if the mech was mimicking the movements of another pilot or If it was just haywire (hard to believe since there is no AI in this game)
Anyway I just wanted to report this and as there is no official bug report thread I could find I thought I would post here

most likely it was a lag spike and the commands she issued were follower after a while, giving the impression of lost control.

Her hands were off the controls. The mech went crazy the moment she launched

Ok this has now happened a third time. This is really strange. How do I report this to PGI?

Prime creepypasta material right here.
Have you tried playing on that computer with a different account? Might help to know whether it's a problem with the account or the machine, maybe your HID drivers just hate MWO or something.

I've had mechs perform unanticipated turns or accelerations, which is typically due to stuck key commands which can usually be resolved by fluttering the offending key. Actual aim moving around and firing weapons on its own sounds incredibly bizarre.

Greetings all,
Did it appear that she may have been 'pushed out' of her Mech and moved to a spectator view, without the normal visual clues?
- This was reported only once before by a very high ping player just as the match started.
- pushed him out of his mech and he went into free float mode.
It appears your wife was 'riding along in another Mech'. You confirmed that the chassis was the same model and had the same weapons?
- very strange.
If it happens again, get a screen shot. And also screenshot the 'tab' screen to see what the pings and players condition are. If it's available use the F4 key to check the 3rd person view and confirm it's her Mech, loadout and colours camo.
