he should be a good Davion indeed, playing the game of his uncle Ian - when he was with the 12th Donegal

about the 10th - this will always be the fire eaters that made the hot drop on Dromini IV - called "The Elephants" - or a couple of years before on Hesperus II - commanded by these usurper Katrina Steiner.

and hell - no Steiner, nor Davion nor Marik, nor Kurita nor Liao has ever deserved the loyalty of their peoples.

Like a good Mech warrior of the AFFC, I'll be where I'm needed most, and I serve at the pleasure of Hanse Davion, and when he passes I will serve at the pleasure of his son Victor.

Archon Katrina was the legitimate rule of the Lyran half of the FedCom till she abdicated in favor of her daughter once she married the First Prince Hanse Davion.

Well we know that the IS was about to pay for this mistake - Victor should have gone for the Falcons.
As you can see in the future - the Parrots deserve annihilation - while the Jaguars become the real protectors of the IS

He couldn't have gone for the Falcons at that time, it would not have been effective. After the Trial of Refusal with Clan Wolf, the Falcon forces were decimated. The Star League assaulting a beaten clan would not have been impressive, and could have been dismissed by the other clans. The Jags were chosen because they were strong, because they were ruthless, and vicious. Their defeat would display the power of the Inner Sphere, and gave them a leg to stand on when they sued for peace, or the destruction of the Clans.

Similarly, they couldn't go for the Wolves. And the Ghost Bears were a Warden clan. So, it really HAD to be the Smoke Jaguars.

The Jags only became protectors, because they were beaten, and became Bondsmen... If I recall correctly... I don't have much knowledge past End Game.
