well i'm not new to mechwarrior but new to this game and cant purchase mechbays for c-bills really serious u could make it a rediculess ammount but not at all really not very inspiring to keep people playing get 4 mechs **** i'm a kid dnt have money stop playing c'mon guyse cant penny pinch everything 500 dollars for some mechs i'm sure u can let mechbays slip a bit

Free to Play but its not Free to run the servers or pay the employees.

Kids today have a ton of money. You get 10 Mechbays for 15 bucks or 21 Mechbays for 30.
I'm pretty sure Mechbays are one of their main sources of income since you can't really skip on those (with the exception of the regular free ones ofc - thank god), so i think those few bucks are actually vital for PGI.

To my knowledge there have been 3 free mechbays given out so far all rather recent. 2 even came with a free mech also you could simply sell for easy cbills and then have the mechbay free for whatever you please.
All 3 were listed on the main page of this website and were available for a few days simply by winning a certain amount of matches in the allotted period and the most recent all you had to do was log into the game. Sucks you missed out but you'll just have to keep an eye on the latest news section in the future.

the minimum for 1 mechbay should be atleast 10m

I think there has been 4. Last one didn't even require you to play any matches.

To the OP: You're 23 and you would rather whine about the number of mechbays in the game rather than fork over a measly dollar to get another one? And you consider yourself to be a kid?! I was married and living in my own home at your age, "kids" these days, sheesh.

4 extra mech bays are only $6.95. Pay that once every 2-3 months and you'll have enough variety of mechs to be satisfied without being crushed financially. If one were inclined, this game can be very inexpensive to play continuously. That boat sailed for me when the Protector came along, and then Phoenix Pack, and Misery, and Ember, and TDK, and Clan Packs, and Classy Mech, and....

Edit: 23 is not a great age to be at financially these days. Typically fresh out of uni with 10+ years of student debt left to pay. I'm 27 now living alone and financially well, but 4 years ago was a different story.

PGI has already given what... 3 free mechbays already? Two of them came with a free mech too... The latest one was to people logging in an d experiencing the techncial difficulties following the Clan patch...

Mechbays, they are cheap and chances are, there will be another tourney soon where you can get one free.

Maybe if you learned to spell you could fill out an application for a job and then you could afford the paltry amount of money it takes to buy mech bays. You can buy an Ultimate Game Card at Game Stop, Walmart, Target or similar store if you don't have a credit card/debit card. $20 card is a simple purchase and will let you pick up 3,000 MC with $5 left on the card. That is 10 mech bays.

I don't know about you, but when I was 11 I could come up with $20 easily and that was back in 80s. That $20 then has the same buying power as $50 today. So.... "I'm a kid." isn't a very valid excuse. Even if you weren't 23 but 11-16 you could mow a lawn, weed a garden, help someone clean out their garage or shed, or any number of easy tasks.

So instead of playing a video game for hours on end to use C-Bills you could maybe get a part time job and spend $7 for the smallest MC package or $15 for 10 mechbays.

Yea, at 23 youre not a "kid", youre an adult. When I was 23, in college, I could still scrounge money for video games, music movies books whatever I wanted. Not all the time but I could. Im sure you could too, if you really enjoy the game that much.

lol i know i'm 23 i have a job and money haha but my little brother on the other hand does not i was simply remarking from that point of view i'm a qualified mechanic and plasterer but thats not the point i was making haha

I've long thought that PGI should move to the following system:

3 starter mechbays.
3 unlockable mechbays (achievement system, tied to running the tutorials).
3 c-bill mechbays (10 million each).
Any more mechbays would be MC only, as they are now, excepting the free mech/mechbay giveaways such as they've done several times of late.
