Problem is... I received 3 versions as expected but they were the Prime, the D and the S version. Not the ECM C version.
How do I get the ECM version that I was actually after?

Right arm.
Replace it with the Kitfox C right arm.
The Kitfox C beyond that right arm wasn't unique enough to bother putting in as a variant.
Heh. Just noticed it already got answered.
Anyway here's how it looks.

It's actually a pretty fun one to pilot... using a build I found over on Mechspecs:
ERPPC, 2xERSM, ECM, 3xAMS, 4xJJ's
Run it with Advanced Zoom and have fun... all while giving ECM and AMS umbrella coverage to your team...

I didn't try one with an ERPPC, I'll have to give it a whirl.

You dont even need to switch to counter mode on ECM if you smack their ECM mech(s) with your PPC

Not worth putting in as part of the clan pack, we may still see it as a full chassis when they get released for MC or Cbills. But the way omni works kinda defeats the purpose of having unique chassis.

Exactly. Instead we'll see "configuration body parts" instead so we can replicate those ourselves.

I've been running one with one ERPPC and one ERLL and found it surprisingly workable.
Trying 3ERLL sans the AMS (which I am not sold on) next.
It's a fun little mech.

As for the C-arm, I see it everywhere, but I haven't personally started to tinker with it - I'd rather get a feel for the chassis with the stock pods first, before I start playing with more complex builds.

Running 2xERLL, ECM, 2xAMS and a jumpjet. Remaining weight is extra heat sinks. Can't get enough, I love the 'Fox.
You can also run two UAC2 with ECM, which is a great little harasser. The constant shells pinging off your cockpit is infuriating.
I've seen a couple with two ERPPC's... How do you manage that heat? The Adder Prime is bad enough, even removing the Targeting Comp for heatsinks.
But by far the most fun is triple AMS with AMS Overload module. LRM's? Haven't seen any in days.

But they're not.
And they break through.

I run mine with 2 PPC and NO additional heatsinks, and it is pretty manageable. Maybe because I just switched from Nova Prime, it really takes you to school in firing discipline and heat management
