From my testing, it's required to release 2 as you release 1, so there's no real point in putting the gauss in 1.

I'm not sure if you're getting what I'm saying though..

The groups are lined up as is as described.

Group 1: 2 PPC + Gauss
Group 2: Gauss

So, you simply charge up via Group 2.
When it's fully charged, you fire the alpha in Group 1 (while it isn't necessary to release Group 2).

The game for some reason treats Group 1 as "release" when Gauss is assigned to it.

This is done exclusively with a mouse (instead of using the keyboard).. so it's significantly easier to accomplish.

Yeah, that doesn't work for me. Gauss simply won't fire unless I also release RMB for group 2. Wonder why it's different.

Someone else want to give it a try?

:(

Well this happened:

Although, the game was ggclose from the start... but the sync is stupidly effective. I'm kinda preping/practicing for the Madcat meta.

I can add more of my keyboard setup in the future, but for now I wanted to share some 'general' info that might be relevant towards getting a better mindset for solo drops and so on in MWO.

In spoilers for brevity.

And if any offense if taken, watch some Bruce Lee videos on youtube, the dude is really awesome IMHO.

Edit: sorry I can't spell without spell checker... :(

When the game freezes I push ctrl + alt + del and open task manager. This unfreezes the game.

Something that should be obvious but has to be repeated again and again:

If you are in a heavy and a light makes a circle of death around you: Walk backwards!
You will be able to keep him on target much easier.

how about moving away from LRM fire at a right angle from the LRM stream. that way you avoid the unlocked LRMs much quicker after you break LOS with your attacker.
