It won't even give me the option to do so.

So you had MWO installed awhile ago, it worked, you uninstalled it awhile ago, you've redownloaded the small patcher, now you're trying to reinstall, and it's not letting you?

And you're using a freshly downloaded patcher? How far are you getting? What's the last thing you do before it crashes? Does it start the download process?

I downloaded the installer from the MWOmercs website. I opened the file and it said "uninstalling Mechwarrior Online".

"Would you like to uninstall Mechwarrior Online". When I try to uninstall it, it won't let me. However, this is the file that I received from the MWO website to install it.

Hmmm. If I had to guess maybe there's some leftovers in your registry saying MWO is still installed. Or possibly elsewhere.

I tried CC cleaner and deleted the PIranha Games Registry. Nothing worked,

I just restarted my computer and it still didn't work.

Balls. That was going to be my suggestion. Maybe some rogue temp files? Try cleaning:

C:\Users\Stephen\AppData\Local\Temp\

I'm no expert by any means but it almost looks like the patcher is trying to install an msi but sees it's already there and tries to use that one.

Suprised no one else has chimed in. Maybe post in the Workaround forums?

I'd say send the issue and the log to mwo support but they're gone for the weekend : /

support@mwomercs.com

or try

http://mwomercs.com/...public-release/

Ah, the 0x80070643 error looks like it might have something to do with the .NET framework. See if there's a microsoft update you missed.
