Just an idea stock mechs are not valuable in this game not enough ammo.. too hot to slow you name it. So why do mechs not have a perk put in place for keeping it stock or close to stock.. why would the builders build a Mech for Pacific purpose why would they build one that cannot fill the role it was designed for? Parks can be better cooling efficiency triple or double the ammo for keeping in stock or close to stock configurations. You know maybe certain things will be allowed to interchange like one medium laser for a tag or a machine gun for a bap or Ams , LRM 20 for 15 with Artemis . The changes will be noted in the Mech lab what can and be interchange to keep the perks.

How about no Ghost Heat if you're using the standard loadout? Ghost heat being the result of non-optimized cooling jackets around weapons and equipment (manufacturer would have spent time to work out the kinks for the standard load-outs).

There is a petition for a Stock Mode OP. I think that would be valuable.
While an Hunchback-4G has only 2 tons of ammo in Stock, so will every Mech have its limited (realistic) ammunition in Stock Mode (therefore absolute parity balance).
