"As with other Star League era designs the Highlander would suffer the loss of technology brought about by the Succession Wars, and when StarCorps' factory on Son Hoa was devastated towards the end of the Second Succession War the original HGN-732 became virtually extinct. An agreement between StarCorps and Hollis Incorporated to rebuild destroyed chassis from scratch using readily-available technology kept the line going until the mid-3030s when limited production was restarted by StarCorps on Son Hoa and Corey, producing barely a dozen new 'Mechs per year. These HGN-733 Highlanders were used in small numbers by the Capellan Confederation and Lyran Commonwealth, commonly as part of lances containing Exterminators, Victors, Grasshoppers and Catapults."
JJ TWolf though was indeed unnecessary..... and pretty obvious proof that they will be making the TWolf Hero the "Pryde". Probably be available before Xmas. (As there is no other reason to force the "S" config into continuity unless one needed to avoid P2W for a JJ Hero). The only question will be....as a post CW intro mass money maker, or as another clumsy PGI Community Salve/Cash Grab when CW is "postponed" yet again?
With the quality work, overall, done with the Clans (even with the lackluster intro) I will give PGI a little more slack, but...........

I imagine that the mech production pipeline is getting back to a regular schedule very soon, weith the early(secret) stages of production probably well under way. Will they be "clan buster" themed? probably not, the actual "invasion" isn't really started yet.
A King Crab would be hella rad, though

Including the S variant was a mistake and they should remove it from the game.

(For reference, the WLF-2 isn't available until 3052, and the WLF-3S isn't available until 3064, and many of the other variants require technologies that aren't available yet (e.g. Light Gauss Rifles, IS versions of the ER Medium Lasers and ER Small Lasers, and so on).)
The issue with the Wolfhound, such as it is, is that the WLF-1, WLF-1A, and WLF-1B have very similar minimum hardpoint requirements (especially with the lack of rear-firing weapons in MWO; moving one of the two CT Medium Lasers of the WLF-1 to a forward-facing position is what makes the WLF-1B what it is).
Yea I know, that's kinda what I was getting at, all so similar.
I do like the sound of a Com Guard Package though. King Crab, Flashman, Crab, and Mercury would be nice.

Add while the p2w-WhyCantIHaveClanMechsWithCBImmidiately controversy mulls on, give one mech from that package with CBills as it comes out, for them.. err us to bash clans with. I mean, sales one 101, create a need and fullfill it?
Known Clanbuster upgrades
- BL9-KNT Black Knight
- CHP-3N Champion
- HSR 400-D Hussar
- KGC-001 King Crab
- WVE-9N Wyvern
Aaaaaand this is why PGI staffs for, makes and sells mech after mech after mech instead of producing maps or actual content.
