Clan Jade Falcon will be pitted with the Marik Gunfighter Alliance every week for Stock Mech Battles. Every Thursday, CJF and MGA will be matched up to play in battles specifically limited to the tech available to them for the time.
Details will change throughout the course of the matches, but at this moment, 2 Clan Stars (Stock) vs 3 IS Lances (Stock). Adjustments for weight limitations per side are being discussed.
Per week, some additional rules might be added or removed to keep the experience fresh, but in the end, these games for the enjoyment of those who love the Battletech and Mechwarrior universe, and would like to see how battles would be like with the current MWO engine.
If you have any questions, please contact Ultramek or Stingr4y for more details.

Sounds very interesting. 2 Clan Stars vs 3 IS lances, all stock.

Right now, the 2 Stars will be limited to 500 tons while 3 IS lances are limited to 800.
We will give this a try. If there is a balancing issue, we will begin to change the values.
The point is:
This is NOT a competitive pissing match.
This is because several players within both units love the Battletech universe, but hate how the meta changed gameplay.
When the time is right, and both side have become very familiar with the rules of battle in these matches, we all might challenge each other by severely limiting one side with either lower tech for IS, or having the clans go full Zellbrigen rules of engagement.
In the end, this is to give everybody a fresh experience while having fun trying something new.
Warning, these games are NOT for the call of duty players. These are for the Mechwarrior and Battletech fans who appreciate the canon battles.

Because Clan Wolf has been making buddy buddy with The IS buying their way to Earth with love and affection while we fight the only corridor open to us.

Looking forward to these matches. Should be refreshing to have some fun stock battles against house Marik.

I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to fudge that my Locust is a IIC, huh. Now that's a mech I'd want to buy, if I could.

Whatever we all were doing last night, lets keep it up. I know we wanted to do a few rule change ups to mix it up a little, but we had been having so much fun with the current rules, why fix something that wasn't broken. Seems like the win loss ratio was very even. 50/50. And every game was down to the skin of our teeth.
Stay tuned for a few videos from some of our Gunfighters.
Next week, lets start off with the same rules:
MGA: 3 lances of Stock IS mechs (800 ton limit)
CJF: 2 Stars of Stock Clan mechs (500 ton limit)
I soon hope that other units find out how much fun this type of gaming is.
Here is one of the matches recorded on MGA's side.

We meet on the NGNG TS3 server to set up the matches, and we run complete stock as bought from the mechlab. We have not had anyone from outside MGA or the Gryfalcon Galaxy show interest as of yet, but I do not see a problem with you dropping in for some fun. If you register on our website we should be able to let you know when a match is scheduled.
