But goodness, you'd have to have a lot of guts to use something that overheat-prone in MWO.
...Granted that many DHS would probably let you use just a couple of the lasers rather endlessly.

As it is that's a very nasty build, optimised it will be a slaughterHawk.
<3 890m effective range.

Hah! The 5CERLL would be nearly completely heat neutral in TT, but inaccurate because of the lack of targeting computer. This one would be entirely, but I actually goofed a bit (I can have 3t ammo, and forgot to up the armor and change it to Artemis ammo.)
Still needs dakka, though. That's what the 4xLPL/6xMG Daishi's for, though. All the dakka and wub you'd ever need.

Non elite, I can fire 8 consecutive shots, spaced about a half second apart before the 9th will shut me down. It generates about 18% per shot.
What does elite do for it?
Some MWO Heat sim program shows eliting it raises the heat dis to 6.81 or so, and the heat threshold up to 107 or so, up from 98. I would imagine this really helps.

Doesn't seem... amazingly optimised overall though.
Still, want a Warhawk. ^-^

It's okay and I do pretty well with it when I remember to be a second line fighter that pokes out only one arm at a time. In all other cases this is better:

Better heat management, and a better sustained burst damage.
I still love the hell out of my prime, you just have to play it differently.

Fire the ERPPC in pairs, for some reason you get better heat management.

If you fire 3+ PPCs together you get ghost heat.
4C-ERPPCs would 'normally' generate 60 heat.
With Ghost Heat it generates 92.4.
I think the spacing is 0.5 seconds, so yeah, if you volley them in pairs you'll be better off heat wise.

Does a PPC count as beam weapon?
No, a PPC is a projectile weapon in MWO, see http://mwomercs.com/...ommand-console/

That's not what the guy initially meant I think, the comparison in heat was between firing them in pairs and chain firing. Not alpha or 3 at once. I usually pair fire as well, have chain fire grouped as well for the occasion.
