Now the only thing you need to explain is what reload time has to do with projectile speed
The difference in projectile speed is exactly why it is difficult to put the pin point damage in one location... It basically only works if your target is a.) not moving or b.) you're so close, that the targets relative speed to the projectile speed is negligible.
