They should make it so those kinds of mechs can't be sold, like my crappy founders mech. It just sits in bay and collects dust because I can't sell it. If you already spent the cbills good luck cause I doubt they will refund. PGI is cruel like that, when I bought MC I only wanted to spend 14 dollars. But because greedy PGI places the 100 dollar package by default , I clicked to fast and accidently bought the 100 dollar package. Now I got a lot of MC but its ok cause I plan to spend it on clan mechs

It's just the center torso that identifies the mech, the omni pods can all be purchased for c-bills.

Or were FORCED to buy them back because you only wanted it to be able to master another mech, but forgot to unlock that 8th skill before selling it after getting the XP

The only mech I do not regret selling is teh X-5, and I don`t plan on ever selling one again (nor should I have to with 7 bays still free...)

The CT pod is needed at least to get all basics done and possibly to get elites if you haven't got any other mechs in the same weight class.
