So don't bother playing if I just want to play with 1 other person then?
ok.
I just want to be able to play the game with my wife and not get thrown in with a 10-12 man group of meta humping tryhards. Why is that so difficult to understand?
The simple fact of the matter here is,You guys just want people to either play your way,be target practice for you....or gtfo. That pretty much cover it?
Jump in behind the 10 man and pew pew and have fun...instead of complaining.
That or join a group and drop with your wife with many others too...problem solved.

BEEYOOTIFUL!
The only thing you missed is the guy that gives up on his PUG ****** teammates and gets 6 kills by himself and clears over 300k cbills. Because, let's face it, that's the only tangible reward to this messed up game...

We have always had the options of:
1 Suck it up, even when its sync dropping trash talking tryhards.
2. Quit.
Totally sucked, just like it must now. Maybe 2mans can stick largely to pug queue, but there are math issues to filling 2-10s without 2s. Like before, you might be boned so others can drop how they want.
I have lots of empathy for you. Sympathy is harder. A bit bitter for that.

I am hoping they have some sort of opt-out system for 4 mans who are playing casually - or maybe a 4man needs to be a minimum ELO before the MM throws them into the group queue even if they might fit.
Right now everyone wins except the casual group players. IT is very hard to cater for everyone i understand, but i think some way to stop newbie groups from getting smashed so hard they leave the game is in order.
Opt-out for 4 mans
Opt-in for solo players too! I would be happy to group up with the big boiys and follow someones lead as a solo player if none of my buddues are around
If they had this and VOIP i think things would be more balanced for the majority of players (cant please everyone though)

But, all kidding aside... as I've mentioned in other posts, now we find out who the good players are, looking for a competitive challenge in the group queues. Now we find out where the grouped-garbage is, unable to get over without trolling the PUGs in a 4-man.

The best part of the Meme has turned out to be the various ways people interpret it. I was poking a little fun at a certain group that is feeling angry right now, but all sorts of people are reading it for humour, as a statement or for depicting an attitude. I love it.

Also, in the wild, hyenas eat more lions than lions eat hyenas.

The underhive is of course just as small as the top tier as ELO is pretty much a bell curve, not a "pyramid".
Most people are average.
No, the underhive is quite, quite vast, as most have realized the past couple days.
MWO's playerbase has been protected by muh precious elo scores wah wah 4 men only forever my commando gets 8000 damage a game blo blo for two years. Now we can drop in teams made up of stuff like this...
And we still roll CLAN JADE WOLF THE REAL OG AFF NEG AFF NEG AFF AFF every single time. It's hilarious.

The fact that the average player might not be skilled in relation to you does not mean they are pond scum.

Not all 12 mans are meta humping tryhards though, and you wont always end up against a 12 man.

Yep, I have seen plenty of 12 mans just intentionally spamming fun builds such as Atlas-Ks or AC20 Ravens.
The problem is, since teamwork is what brings victory, the 12 man teams mostly stomp the other side anyway, regardless of build.
