Would You Be Ok With A Rotating 3Rd Pov When Stationary?

If you have not fired your weapons or have been hit, and your mech is stationary after 3 seconds, then you should be allowed to orbit your mech and look at it in any direction.
Get shot, move, or shoot yourself, and your camera snaps back to follow mode.
I don't think it is a game breaker in any way as well. 3rd POV was thankfully nerfed down so much that nobody uses it for combat, but I still want to look at my pretty mech.
Good idea or bad? Maybe just allow it in Testing Grounds?

Good. Include limited zoom in/out capability also. No use in combat, good for screenshots. They could make the little drone orbit around you, too.

I do not think this should be in game at all but in something like private match testing grounds or something along those lines. That way you do have a way to take screen shots. If it is in a live game it will be abused.

No... If nothing else because we will have a concertina subgroup here shouting their faces off.. And that is annoying.
So no.
Maybe in training grounds.

Training grounds? Sure. Otherwise, no.

Terrible idea. This allows for even more free scouting than the current version that never should have been implemented.

It'd be nice to be able to do that in order to check yourself for Narc pods, since Betty can't be arsed .
It'd also make me feel a bit like Thomas Covenant.

Hell no. We have enough trouble with PUGs standing around admiring each others' paint jobs instead of fighting.
Admire your Mech in the Mech Lab (you do know you can rotate it there, right?)

Yeah, I like the idea too, but it needs to be limited.
Having it only in Private Matches and Testing Grounds is likely the best way to go.

That's not a bad idea, but it needs to be expanded upon.
Perhaps when a mech is in third person, either moving or stationary, they should be forced to watch the drone circle their mech...thus making it impossible to shoot while in 3pv.

The idea doesn't bother me, but its an incredible waste of limited dev resources, so I have to hate it, sorry!

I don't have enough unlikes for this idea.
Sorry, OP.
