Sadly, if they are really trying to push this "mass-market free-to-play" model, expect little-to-no Joystick support. Can't have anything that would turn off casuals, now would it?
You don't HAVE to use sticks. It's just an option.

here's hoping its not only Joystick but force feedback! I'm still looking to justify my outrageous G940 purchase!
I feel sorry for you. A couple years back, I bought a G940 to use with FSX (anyone heard of it) and as soon as I plugged it in, the FF system started spazzing out, the throttle did not respond... yeah. I returned it. Leter, I read that people who kept theirs would experince a problem of the throttle completely glitching. Get an Extreme 3D Pro. Or X52. Something else.

Had
Saitek Cyborg Evo
For years now. If this game shows signs of 2-3 years of playability it is time for not just a joystick but peddles, headset and if there are special glasses I would get them.
Glasses that cause the aim to follow your headmovement. Gimme it gimme it lol

Sidewinder FF2 here. I dug it out a couple weeks ago and its plug and play with windows7. Still working wonderfully. I downloaded the Mektek MW4 and ran through it a couple times. God it felt so good under my hands again.
