No error message. I tried downloading the C++ but it said I had a newer version, same for DX and The other link. I have a Windows 8 system. I have rebooted and used the cleanup tool as well. Still a no go. Please help.

I just did a fresh install of the game and I am having the same issue. Did you find a resolution?

You two have Windows 8.1? Because it might be the same overheating issue from some other articles that has been mentioned many times, dunno if the staff is working on it or not.

Did another reinstall and same problem. This time though the repair tool fixed it and I have been running perfectly since. Seems like the installer is failing at some point in the process.
