From another night of CNCI scouting, mixing some pugs in here with us now and then. I seriously wonder what goes through some of these IS pilots' heads. Bumping noses with my Splatty Shadow Cat in your slow XL Raven? Just letting a light mech walk through your line and slowly line up backshots on all of you, completely unmolested or contested? Standing still, staring at an enemy mech within 300 meters while in a lighter mech? Wat?

Anyways, here's a CW Scouting shorty. A bunch of locusts died while making this film. No tears were lost.

Dropped for pure PUG scouting. Figured I could lend my blade to the fight and carry some skittles to victory. 45 minutes of nothing but wins. Now I know why the Shadow Cat has fairly wide shoulders. It's to carry the team.



Also, evidently I am becoming known in the scouting pool as "good at murder." Extra fun? That NICOLAS guy was harping on about how he carries every game, and practically single handedly wins fights. Pay attention to the score screen at the end for maximum entertainment.

And, once again, a PSA. Stop. Bringing. LRMs. To. Scouting mode. A full third of this footage is me educating someone. You keep losing in Scouting Mode? Maybe it isn't because of a massive tech imbalance. Maybe it is because you bring the wrong tools to the fight.

Just found out it's easy to fit two Nova Cats and two Huntsmen into a Nova Cat-themed Dropdeck.

If I decide to get back into FP, that's happening. High ERPPC spam and low ERML spam; It'll be fun.

Seriously, though, the Ghost Bear premades we ran across put up a far stiffer competition tonight than the IS premades we have been absolutely murdering all day. I gotta give credit where credit is due. I mean, earlier, we literally went for two and a half hours before our first defeat. What the hell, Sphereoids?
