Just a few tips, having been in a merc core myself for quite a long time (since the remnant was still MekTek's official team), I can tell you that when it comes to dealing with people and conflict resolution trials or fights are possibly the WORST way to do it. Trials can be a fun and immersive way of making the cluster "clan" but don't mate any actual authoratative power to trials and their outcomes or you will quickly find that the dezgra with the quickest reflexes will be highjacking your community.

My suggestion is to use ribbons, medals, or trophies of some kind. Perhaps have a limited amount, and only through victory in trials of possession could those medals be won, and only so long as you go undefeated in subsequent trials can those medals be kept. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with pbiggz. We need a way to keep people from jumping ranks. Pariah has mentioned that we could use a system of supporters to prevent random rank hopping. Where we have someone who wants to challenge for rank, they need to get support from a few existing members (number to be decided) before the challenge is actually considered.

Actually got lucky. Tons of people on at once. Got a lot of background stuff banged out faaast.

Our official paint scheme is settled, too:

Alpha Galaxy Scheme, nice! I always knew that the Snowfall pattern made a good Nova Cat scheme. What colors did you use?

Hellblau, Titanium White, and Black (Hotrod, Phoenix, PC Gamer, whatever). Given the color filters, while Manganese is probably closer to the right blue it also has less contrast and is lost a bit on maps with color filters. For example, on Caustic Valley. The blue is more "blue" and less sea green with Hellblau. Well, in game anyways.

The left upper Awesome is sporting Manganese. The other two mechs are using Hellblau. Also, yes. That is my Pseudo-Warhawk. Works surprisingly well!

If Clan mechs ever adopt the same custom and camo skins as IS, I wonder how this would look on them?

LOL. Niiiccce! The legs blend to black, though. Only the top torso stays blue.

I sincerely hope that when the Clans hit or CW launches official paint schemes will become available so we could run a true starfield on black pattern.

I'm sure a lot more details will fall into place quickly come this Thursday/Friday when I foresee most of us being available at the same time

Excellent. Clan Rank Structure is being appropriately dropped in place, and the groundwork for Trials of Position are being cemented. Big, big step for us being a legitimate clan, IMO.

When scheduling Trial of Position synch drops with another clan, it is to be expected that there would be multiple Trials running, quiaff? I have it in my head as if both Clans would use the opportunity to run their own trials.

Or you can let us take over the Smoke Jaguar Channel. You know they would get a real kick out of that. XD

Jaguar days are numbered anyway. soon their assets will have to be appropriated under the name "stone's shadows". :) What's left of them at least...

Also please let me know how this was in closeness to lore. I really am trying here to become better about my lack of knowledge.

You have already lost this battle. Jaroth Corbett will find for sure something wrong :P

You are still a young cub, lore standards. So I will let it slide freeborn. Ghost Bear has brought about the great father's vision, quiaff? We have returned to the inner sphere and have come about to establish ourselves. We have a mighty population, we have our freeborn and trueborn Warriors that protect our domain and that are ready to defend the home world of mankind. We appreciate that you are trying to educate yourself on the glory that was the vision of the Founders and the great father. Try not to insult us, quiaff?

I would think it is obvious we are still a mighty Clan of Kerensky. No matter the time line period. We are a merger and realization of what would be needed after a clan made it to Terra. Our family of rasalhauge have made a clan that was strong, stronger. Those that tread through our arctic domains must be wary. We await patiently under the guise of comfort in the snow. Think not that we are in slumber.
