System Specs:

i7-3770k OC @ 4.5ghz
Gainward Phantom GLH edition GTX780 @ 980/6200 Mhz (driver 340.43)
GeIL evo Leggera 16GB Dual channel RAM @ 2133 Mhz 11-11-11-36
Asus P8 Z77-VLE motherboard
6Gb/s SSD 260 GB (running MWO client)
500GB HDD

Whenever I play MWO with DX11 at High or Very High settings I get artifacts in Mechlab, Testing Grounds and in Match play. Suffer severe frame rate drop from ~70fps to 20fps and as low as 5fps with particles. I have no problems with DX9 with steady frame rate ~100fps in match play.

Max System Temps while playing MWO with DX11; GPU 75C, CPU, 50C, MOBO ~30C.

Steps I have tried to resolve issue;
-Fresh install of MWO
-MWO repair tool
-Delete shaders file
-Nvidia drivers 332.21 all up to 340.43
-Re-seating GPU
-Under/Over-clock GPU (from default)
-TXAA, MSAA, Post AA and no post processing
-Vsyn on/off
-Uninstall Geforce Experience
-Uninstall Asus AIsuite

I have no issues with 3DMARK, Batman Arkham Origins DX11 (~90fps), Skyrim DX9 (Vsync 60fp solid).

Tried a cryengine based game on steam called 'Memory of Eldurim' which is by no means an optimised game. Ran all settings max on DX11 (game has higher fidelity than MWO).

Does anyone have any Ideas/Solutions or is this just a MWO issue?

DX11 is buggy in the game, just switch back to DX9.

it isn't your computer.

I have same issue

FX8320 4.5GHz with Corsair H80i cooler
AMD Performance DDR3 1866GHz
280X Power Colour OC Edition
120 GB SSD Hard Drive

Get awesome frame rates in all games bench marks etc.

In this game it seems to be common with all hardware Intel, AMD CPU's and AMD and NVidia Video Cards

Hope they work on this issue we all have pretty good hardware and know how to set up our rigs.

I do not get artifacts but suffer from the fluctuating frame rates.

Push your system into this, and then check if you have the wattage you need on any given rail …
