Ultra Acs, Jamming And Cooldown

Hi all, not sure if this is the right forum or not.

Ultra Autocannon:

1) When it jams, does it deny you the 2nd shot? Or do you get the 2nd shot and then have it jam?

2) When it un-jams, does it still need the cooldown? Or is cooldown time and jam-time concurrent?

So in other words, with an UAC-20, I expect the first shot to always go out. But is the 2nd guaranteed, even if it then jams?

And if it jams, do I get a 5 second delay to the next shot, or 5 seconds PLUS the normal 4 second cooldown?

The second is not guaranteed. I feel like sometimes the 2nd shot gets out and then the gun jams (in the case of the clan UAC i think it can jam at any part of its double tap like round 4 out of 5 for the 20 but not verified), but things where worse when you could jam it on its first shot. As for the cooldown, last I remember, wherever it was in its cool down when it jammed is where it resumed from.

It jams the moment you hit the fire button while on cooldown (if it fails the jam test, of course). You do not fire any of the second volley.

When the jam clears, your cooldown resumes where it left off (with no option to fire again during that cooldown). Note that previously, if you fired again before that cooldown ended unintentionally while trying to get the normal shot off quickly, you could then jam on your next normal shot - that has been fixed.

The second is not garaunteed. However, if it starts firing, all rounds in the burst will fire, though sometimes they don't all animate correctly. Damage appears to be correctly applied regardless.

As I said, you get the 5 second delay PLUS the remainder of your cooldown, depending on when during your cooldown you tried to doubletap.
