I've been hoping that the Vindicator will eventually be added to the Mechs in the game. I'm not sure if there has been much talk about this but I would like to offer my Vindicator model as a starting point for a redesign.

Oh man I clicked on the forum title thinking they released the concept for it. My hopes where so high.
Any ways cant wait till they release it.

Not a clue sadly, if they handle it like they did the Phoenix packs we wont see it till 2015 IE they will wait till all the clan mechs are available for cbills.

Someone tweeted to Russ asking if there was going to be a new IS 'mech and it's hero released together on July 15th 'cause we haven't had a hero this month yet, and he retweeted it, so that's something? Also, Russ or someone stated that they'd be releasing an IS 'mech alongside two clan 'mechs a month, but the first two C-Bill clan 'mechs are in August, so I'd imagine we'll get our first IS in August in the 3rd week.

I really wouldn't mind getting the Vindicator next week though

Are you sure that one is a Vindicator?

You're right it says "Wyvern", but it happens to be next to a Vindicator image.

You can build almost the same Mech with a Wolverine 7K, so who needs an other useless Chassis with no Balistic Slot ?

A Warhammer would be nice.
A PPC and a AC5 in each side torso, and Medium Pulse Lasers in the arms.

Does every mech released need to be completely different?

I'd just like different mechs in the game, if nothing more than to have different looks. Even if they have the same exact hardpoints and stats as other mechs.

Really, I'm hoping for some crabs. Crabs and/or King Crabs...

First off, that is absolutely sweet beyond all sweetness. I love the details and overall look. I'd pilot that into battle any day.

Second, I couldn't help but notice the torso on that mech looks like a Core part from an Armored Core mecha?..

What concerns me more is the fact that a mech is "useless" without a ballistic slot.

How can it be useless not having a ballistic slot. I never use ACs or Gauss, Mainly ER LL and I do just fine!

Yes, I built the majority of the model using 2 different Armored Core figures,
ARMORED CORE ANOTHER AGE 02 HIGH END ACTION FIGURE 02 ARTFX ZCH-GR/1 Torso
and
ARMORED CORE 2 ANOTHER AGE HIGH END ACTION MODEL VERSION GREEN 01 KOTO
for the legs and arms. I built the PPC out of an X-wing engine and an ink pen, the rear jump jets are made from the chobium armor covers for a 1/144 scale Gundam Alex type.
The head is sculpty putty and plastic.
Glad you like it, I made a Rifleman IIC out of another Armored core figure as well. You can see it in the photo album.

If that old sketch Alex made is close to how thin the Vindicator end up being... This thing looks like the mech for me. Beyond that, I love really diverse load-outs. And more Capellan mechs are always welcome (Capellan till' the end!)

Well said, BTW, why isn't your faction Capellan brother?
My goal is to have all 3025 Capellan mechs as I can afford them. Right now my current favorite is my Cataphract CTF-1X.
I enjoy playing 3025 tech even though you can't hold your own with all the Clan crap running around, to me its a point of pride I don't need all that fancy cutting edge stuff. Thats how we do it in the Capellan Confederation and we LIKE IT that way...
