IS missiles are more prone to blow up and might be 100s of years old. Safety first.
Sounds good to me.

Well if we are throwing out lore and just doing whatever we want they why play the game? Why be here, Why even post on the forums? Why breath?
Lore is what makes this game what it is...otherwise we are in unrecognizable mechs, no name weapon systems and we cannot use any of the fun stuff we have that are PART OF CANNON. There would be NO LRMS period....there would just be missile and they would have to start from the ground and work up to create something completely new. Just two seconds of thought before the text vomit next time you prolly could have answered you own question, think before you type.

No, this is a BattleTech game.
Not really, but IS still shouldn't have no min range LRM's.

If they planned to ignore the lore, they wouldn't have used the "MechWarrior" title.
While agree with most of your post, I think this part gives way more credit than is due........they used MechWarrior because they knew it would draw money spenders to the game........they ignore lore on a consistent basis, going all the way back to the initial decision to allow the IS to field what are basically better Omni Mechs than the Clans have insofar as customization and lack of restrictions on weapons load outs go.

But...

Yup, and a lot of us suckers believed it and spent money on it too........it's not the first time a company has "stretched" the truth when it comes to describing a product and it surely won't be the last.
So your point?

I think this thread probably should have just ended with the second post. (Perhaps with the slight addition of "Ripple-fire LRMs")
