No... flat out... NO. **** that. You sure need to back up and think about this ludicrous idea you and Mithos have. You really think players want to spend money for this crap below? Hell no... that will only cause division and PGI will lose it's client base. What kind of business model are you trying to envision for them? Not everyone is made of money or wanting to put money into the game... I've dropped hundreds so far, but I've seen people leave for the smallest of changes to the game, this would be like sealing the game inside a tomb and locked away for antiquity. Seriously... you two got some screw-ball ideas.

Slow your roll home... All we're saying is as you buy stuff you are going to buy ANYWAY, like mechs, mech-bays, colors, camo's, etc.. the money you give them accumulates in the 'frills bank' and then you can shop for these features you want. We're not saying you have to pay money JUST for these features, that WOULD be ludicrous!

They are NOT going to waste their time on FRILLS like more bay filters, saving loadouts, customize button locations per desktop, etc. JUST BECAUSE. We have to give them incentive, and this is a fun way to do it.

It would only be fair that people that already paid in would have money in the 'frill bank' when this is implemented.

They should implement these features without us spending money to unlock "tiers" and would require too much coding on the UI along with updating the graphics involved with it... have you ever designed a UI before? It's not easy... not one bit. What Mithos has proposed, and you support, is just a money grab option for PGI. They've already been accused many times over for "money grabs" and this is really just an exact example of one... I'm glad they didn't think of this. All users want UI2.0 to become a seamless and painless interface for players to use and navigate, these features suggested by Mithos are great... for free.

There's no arguing with some people, they'll just beat you to death with the same harebrained argument over and over again.

Just go here and vote:

Best chance to make this happen.

Well in a perfect world, everything great is free.. the way I see it, they aren't spending time tweaking the UI and coding little details like these because they aren't deal-breakers... and I'll take your word on it that coding a UI isn't easy.. so... they focus on OTHER things.. I mean they can't even fix LRM LOCK-ON and that is SO VITAL to this game! They may eventually make these UI tweaks a year or two from now but OPEN YOUR EYES.. only MONEY will motivate them to do it sooner...

Bahahaha do you know how many times this topic has been voted on? We need to be more original .. that's why we are trying to brainstorm and come up with something original both sides can agree on.

There are some staff in a F2P game that's ok to charge for (colors, mechbays, griding convenience etc), some are fraud upon (uniqe mech variants) but charging for a friendlier UI is ridiculous.

Suggestion board is a good place for this. What daemur said is unfortunately very accurate. We are aware of it but at this time it is not considered a bug.

So ... Narnia, how do you explain it makes the mechlab go awol when the trial being selected you click on some other mech configure button option ? Is that a feature too ?
