+1

I MUCH preferred the old version. Please restore it, even if only as an option.

I very much prefered the old way. My arms/torso are locked, and when I need them to move separately I hold left control. Now, getting into a brawl just pisses me off. So could you a: bad idea. Change it back. Or b:good idea/common sense. Have and option to use either one.

I also preferred the old way... by ALOT. Now I am having issues and it is VERY annoying. I much prefer the hold toggle for alot of reasons. There was no reason to take out the other option.

Please add the option back in PGI. Very much dislike your "new" arm lock toggle system.

please add the old way (hold) back as an option! This, in my opinion, is a huge change in aiming mechanics and makes it every difficult to play.

The toggle option really does disrupt in game flow while piloting and at round start has to be toggled about to figure out which position its in.

Progress please. Removing an existing option only to replace it with a restrictive option, then deleting the prior option, is not progress. The original request said nothing of deletion.

Both options please.

Very annoying change and it makes playing lights confusing in the heat of battle. Now even less folks will play lights.

+1 for both options.

I'm in total agreement on reverting the armlock to how it previously functioned.

Will they change it? Hopefully. Probably not though.
Will I get used to the new way but still ***** about how I want it back. Yes. Oh god yes.

I don´t think it is a question of noticing or not noticing.

It is about understanding what is important to the average user (controls, doh!) and giving it the appropriate priority.

Given their track record (UI2.0) don´t get your hopes up.

I'm not seeing the problem.

I push left "shift" to lock/unlock and push it again to unlock/lock.

What's wrong with that?

Nothing. Nothing is wrong with that.

Taking away the previous option is wrong.

Which you would know, had you actually bothered to read the thread you are responding to.

Dear Devs,

I have used momentary arm lock bind command for Warthog Throttle's speed brake lock, which is a switch that moves and locks in its position.
Now with last patch by changing it into toggle arm lock bind you have broken it's functionality. Instead of just moving it into position of choice (arm lock on, arm lock off), now I have to toggle it twice as much (on-off, to get arm lock on, on-off, to get arm lock off)!!!
I am hoping choice will be available and both commands will be available.
I am also looking forward for toggle and momentary and state commands for bindings for all equipment, ECM f.e.!

Not too happy with enforced binding changes founder,
Shaman

i believe you haven't been using it much, It might seem too small it's a core gameplay mechanic. They actualy dubled the time you need to shoot and then torso tweest to shield yourself.

I might come back to the game in 6+weeks after they FIX their stupid change and push it through the gauntlet of QSA.

Cool, you can stop trolling the threads too while you're at it lol :( I mean... look at all of your posts dude, you're clearly not happy with PGI or the game... your sig alone just shows everyone exactly the type of person you are :D Try actually giving feedback v. complaining about this or that being wrong.

Tried getting used to the new way, but honestly hate it.

+1 to giving us the hold to unlock back as an option.

Change and change for the better aren't necessarily the same thing. Even though I prefer the arm lock toggle option, return the press and hold option for arm lock. While we're at it, can't we get a TAG toggle AND be able to assign it to weapon groups to "fire" as needed.

I'll just boycott game until they allow options. I hate it when they change things that worked fine.
