Please, Its my favorite mech. Just take the catapult, lower the arms to the front of the torso and add 20 tons. You need more IS tech since clans come out anyway. And btw, the nova is incredibly disappointing..

There is a large amount of legal tape that keeps the marauder tightly wrapped up in the hand of Harmony gold and they are not willing to make a deal.

Unfortunately golden harmony has them by the short hair there. Which is kinda silly since marauder is NOT the name of a zentradi battlepod. But a battletech name. Oh well...

shadow hawk is from dougram joe and the people who have robotech do not have that. That is why we got the pheonix mechs

The Shadow Hawk design was/is held by a different company (I think Sunrise). They were willing to make a deal to use it. Harmony Gold however is notorious for not making deals

The name isn't the issue, it's the artwork.

There was a time when they were going to rework the Unseen and even put out some preliminary artwork for the Warhammer, but if I recall correctly HG said they would sue even if the mechs only superficially resembled "their" mechs, so the plans were scrapped.

They ought to do some from the reseen mini's and pre-emptively sue harmony gold for harassment to the battletech line for money.

After all the reseens have passed muster. And might as well get this across to those gold diggers that battletech is not their pond.

Doing that, PGI would likely go bankrupt. The actual owners of batteltech aren't even willing to incur the money and time cost of doing that. Also PGI has no right to putting out minis.

Plus the Unseen aren't "Battletech" they are "Robotech" stuff that was used in BT.

I can honestly say this, I won't ever knowingly buy anything HG puts out.

Given the success of the various packs, they could just have a quasi kickstarter "Macross Pack" aka the "F U HG pack" to raise the funds, with the money to be refunded if they don't get enough .

Add some clan lights that can actually scout effectively first, that and a Hellbringer so we can have some ECM. Then we can add the Marauder.

I don't think you realize how stingy Harmony Gold is with the things they hold rights on and how much money they are willing to throw at things to keep their hold as tight or tighter.

How do they even have money to sue people? I remember a handful of Robotech games (and I admit it, if they made a ton more I'd buy every single one) and.. not much else, lately.

Many companies sit on an IP and wait for others to make nock off's so they can sue them for damages. In companies like these the legal team is one of the largest arms.

They continue to make money off of Robotech and other anime (dvd sales). Then they produce movies and mini series. They deal in very expensive (Beverly Hills expensive) realestate, and apparently pull quite a bit in from their theater. Other than that I have no idea where they get their money.
