Temporary freezing and massive lag spikes have been the norm since last patch. And I'm located not that far from the servers in Canada, ping of 30.

Yepp, at least three times since the last patch. Two times on Frozen City (Day), one time on Terra Terrible as far as I remember.

- lagfest, rubberbanding, game unplayable
- mechs running in circles
- spectator mode broken
- game ends not until the timer runs out
- mech blocked
- overall increased latency and lag-spikes

Same here. Strangely its sometimes still possible to hit ppl despite it looks like a DC/desync.

Never had this happen before the last patch ever. Only times I saw something similar (ppl walking in place etc) were when servers crashed/DCed but then the match was over and not half over with the possibility to still kill stuff if your lucky.

EDIT: Im pretty sure it also happens in the mech lab. I am getting all kind of new weird error messages that I havent seen in my 1 year playing this game ever before.

"Failed to change selected mech"
"Disconnected from the gameserver"
"Time out network" something
"Unknown Failure"
"Failed to save XYZ"

Right now I can not select half of my mechs in mechlab. Trialmechs wont work at all. All my lights (except trials) can be selected or some hunchbacks etc. Half of the time I cant save changes and this morning suddenyl ALL my 64 mechs were displayed as invalid until I relogged in...
Also failed to find matches (on any) several times now since yesterday.

All this has been especialy bad since yesterday evening (I first asumed its due to thunderstorms in my area but im not the only one and its 10h later now).

The game is becoming unplayable now due to these issues.

Day or night it doesn't matter, same $hit.

Nobody has addressed this at all?

Don't run the repair kit, don't flush your DNS, don't do anything, this is a server side problem.

Still happening.
Random disconnects, rubberbanding, lag without ping drops, freezes, hit reg fails and so on.
FIX YOUR SERVERS!
REFUND A WEEK OF PREMIUM TIME for those who have it active.Because the game is unplayable for the last week now.
Oh and its more than about time for an official statement or at least a blue post like "we are aware of the problem and we are working on it".

Finally got a response to the ticket I opened about this issue.

The GM responded with a question " is this still happening? "

I said yes of course and provided more examples as well as pointing him to the forums talking about this.

Hey everyone,

I am fed up with MWO/PGI and the insulting support response in which they ask me to run dxdiag, pings, MODEM brand? etc. after I pointed out there is no way my PC set up/ISP can attributed to everyone else globally having the same lag/disconnect problem after the patch. This also after the DNS fiasco.

So instead of wasting more time and continuing to try to reason and justify my issue, I just gone ahead and opened up a case with Paypal to get a refund of my last MC purchase when the game worked. As evidence, I will send Paypal ALL of this captured evidence. I hate to do this because I love the game and have spent a lot of money but honestly, this "it's not our problem" just helped me quit this game. I will get back HOURS of my life so really no loss. Thanks PGI.

Apparently they do not think this is an issue as (according to them) only "some" people are experiencing it and they are trying to put the blame on the customer's end. When in actual fact, this latest bout of laggy crapola only started with the latest patch with the rejoin feature.

I think the only way to make them listen and (hopefully) fix the issue is with our wallets.

This was briefly addressed in another thread in "general discussion".

Somebody from PGI addressed it.

http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__3577724

This is since the last patch and the "rejoin" feature.

Confirmed the same as OP that previous couple days.
Great system, awesome internet connection, no issues before this patch.

Now Lag and walking in place. haven't seen it today.
So maybe they are addressing it in the back ground.
