Why wouldn't it? 5 more tons and a beauty of a hard point mix.
Exactly. 5 tons is a whole lot of difference in the 50-60 ton range. That is 5 whole DHS which will turn a Lava Hot build into one that is only mildly warm, especially when boating lasers. No surprise at all that the Stormcrow is superior to the Hunchback.
However, if you compare it to other mechs, the gap is much thinner.
One of my Stromcrows is configured like this:
SCR-D
106.7 kph
0 JJ
364 armor
40% heat management
4 Clan ER ML
3 SRM-6 + Artemis
Then I compare it against my Quickdraw and a Kintaro I used to run:
Quickdraw
98 kph
4 JJ
368 armor
37% heat management
4 ML
2 SRM6+Artemis
1 SRM4+Artemis
or
KTO-20
106.9 kph
0 JJ
368 armor
39% Heat Management
4 ML
3 SRM6
Then I realize that while the Stormcrow holds an obvious advantage against these two, it is only slightly better off than what most people consider two of the worst IS mechs in the game.
Good mech? Yes. Overpowered, No LOL.
