say, NPC armor, mechs, or infantry.
maybe a mission (take the fuel station)
Red team - defend the station
Blue team - blow up the station

Solaris 7 maps - like caverns 12v12, or the steiner colliseum 4v4

maybe have 2 capital ships air locked together and were battling vs a boarding party

maybe a mech repair bay in a battle, run in, shut down repair up, start mech back up go back to fighting. it would be a location of much contention. but fun

add the rest of the mechwarrior universe. its not just mechs.

add some starleague mechs. maybe some new innersphere chassis or melee weapons

for god sakes bring in the hatchetman or the axeman

They have. The Highlander and Orion. They have the Protector Hero. That's Kerensky's mech. Also DeCheviler piloted an atlas.

Ilike these mechs, but they would be very underwhelming here in MWO. Until physics and some sort of melee is implemented

I would love an axeman or hatchetman too Monkey. Only as Sand has said they would be completely redundant without a melee combat system. That has to happen WAY before anything like a dedicated Hand to hand mech is introduced. I would love that. I would also love those mechs and having them IF PGI had implemented a hand to hand combat system. But they do not right now. I mean, we do not even have death from above lol. So as much as I would love that...

I do no want a dedicated melee mech with no melee mechanics.

And not to be condescending, but these things come up a lot. Pretty much everything you mention. I'm in total agreement, though: this still very much feels like a beta game. Great graphics and worlds better than even a few months back, but...

I wouldn't hold my breath for melee...

The game needs PVE coop missions bad.

That's probably 4 years away if they ever do it, but it would make MWO a real full game and not a bottom of the barrel F2P game along the lines of Tribes Ascend

Apparently PvE is too complex for them. It might be hard, so they're not doing it.

If they want to keep the game going I expect that stuff in the future. It just would not be a battletech game without something besides just mechs.

PvE is going to be so far away, if never. The AI and design would have to be top notch to be worthwhile in the long run, they are still working on Community Warfare and that was a staple of the game series , its' been since 2011 December lmao.

It would be so cool to see small infantry and tank squads flitting around, though. And TOADS/Elementals...how can you have a Clan invasion without Toads?
