How Will You Feel If Another Mc Mech Pack Is Delivered Before Cw?

UNSURPRISED
Matter of fact I expect it, because PGI seems no closer to launching community Warfare than they were 18 months ago. OK, that might be a slight exaggeration, I'm sure they've made some small amount of progress, but I doubt we will see CW this year, maybe fall 2015 IF we are lucky (and just not gullible still).
Yup...so expect a mech pack sale sometime this fall, "Just in Time for Christmas!!". Remember you read it here first.

but every evaluation date i set myself for it i have not seen a game.
Its still an alpha/beta techdemo with the basic features and lot of problems.
If there are more maps and cw and this game is ready to launch,
i will spent money on it.
New mechs do not change anything, its still the same maps for more then a half year, 3 basic gamemodes that are not that different, no meanings in the repeating deathmatches. Sure its fun, buts its nothing more then a dumbed down minimal aviable product thats not half ready...
Give me something where i can play with that new shiny toys that i can buy and i will buy them.

Still, on NGNG #115, Russ said they had no current plans to release another in the near future.
That was their position at that time.
For me, I wouldn't really care at this point as long as CW is out when they said it would be.

Why? Sure, it would be nice to have a lot of mechs to chose from, but in the end it is wasted dev-time. Without sized hardpoints and/or stock mode, a large majority of players will always only use a fraction of the mechs available because at some point (and that point has likely already been reached or will be soon) you can have any possible configuration with the mechs we already have. Therefore new mechs will only be glorified new skins and bring nothing new to the table, while players will gravitate towards the superior designs. Why use an Awesome when a Banshee or Stalker is just outright better?

But... this PGI quoting vague time. What is near future? Is it longer or shorter than 60 days? Because 60 days so far about 3 years long.

I would rather they take the people working on Mech Paks, send them to whatever coding school they need to go to, so they can help the CW team get something great out the door. I'm sure there's time for another Bachelors in whatever class they need. *snicker*

Actually a package of all the Macross mechs would be nice. But gold Urbie no matter what.

Honestly I see the Clan draw out as the main cash draw until after CW.
