Missing 2 tons of armour, bringing it down to 9.5 tons of pod space when maxed, without JJs or ECM.

Yep, pretty dead. SRM18 stock is kinda nice, though. For a 25 tonner.

You could do that on a Commando, without the silly omnimech restrictions.

New Clan Mechs most likely will be from the other 8 Omnimechs from the 3050 Tech Readout book.

As for Inner Sphere Omni-mechs they're a long ways off. Also, I seem to recall the first IS Omni-mech was a 50 ton BlackJack?

  • The Raptor makes its debut in 3052.
  • The Black Hawk KU makes its debut in 3055.
  • The Owens, Avatar, and Sunder make their debut in 3056.
  • The OmniTech Firestarter chassis technically makes its debut in 3056, but its various configurations aren't available until 3057.
  • The Strider and the OmniTech Blackjack make their debut in 3057.
  • The Perseus (basically the OmniTech Orion) makes its debut in 3058.
  • The Arctic Fox makes its debut in 3059.
  • The Men Shen and the Hauptmann make their debut in 3060.
  • The Templar makes its debut in 3062.
And then it's all Wobbie stuff and additional configs for the above until 3100 (with the debut of the Templar III).

No, it doesn't. :(

"Production ceased during the Second Succession War with the facilities that supplied the Pillager's advanced systems, but the decoding of the Grey Death memory core allowed the re-introduction of the Pillager to the Inner Sphere."
"When it was re-introduced in 3058, the Pillager enjoyed an advantage over many 'Mechs its own size and weight."
- TRO 3058 Upgrade, pg. 228

"Production of the Pillager halted not because its facility was destroyed, but the advanced Gauss Rifle and XL Engine production lines had been obliterated by the end of the Second Succession War. Curiously, Hildco did not restart production of the original PLG-1N, rather the Pillager lines only began production again in 3058 when advanced components were once again available for the PLG-3Z." - Sarna.net

No, it does.

We not talking about introducing in 3058 of a Pillager's 4Z and 5Z, we talking about those 1N and 3Z which left in stock of IS arsenals from 2594. So don't be an arse, Pillager MUST BE in game already. All this "turnings" to SARNA is SO POOR :P

Pl0ss... You again as much as most Clan-Fappers taking word out of a context. That is a MAIN content:

Which actually means that PLG-1N are still used by IS "employers" and it's not gone or disappear somewhere.

PLG-1N

Quote

The original Pillager, fielded for the first two decades of the Reunification War, uses a standard Fusion Engine instead of the Extralight model that went into production. Other limitations include a 60 meter jump range and 17 tons of armor. The weapons suite was also different, relying on twin torso mounted Autocannon/20s, a single SRM-4, and three Medium Lasers; one mounted in each arm and a head-mounted laser firing to the rear. Sixteen single heat sinks kept the heat under controls.

So, even if we got just a PLG-1N we got unit with such hardpoints like:

Head: - 1 E (dual free slot)
Arms: - 2x1 E (dual or quad free slots)
Left/Right Torso: 2x2 B slots
Right Torso: 1 x 1 M slot

And if we talking about PLG-3Z we got such hardpoints:

Head: - 1 E (dual free slot)
Arms: 2x2 E slots
L/R Torso 2x2 B slot

If you are just another lad who spend his pocket money which parents give'ya for lunch on a clan-pack you got nothing to worry about twin-G00ss mounts, there is much more painfull loadouts in game for butt-pocking your Dai-Shi. ;)

Note that the first quote is directly & verbatim from TRO 3058 Upgrade, a primary source. :(

There aren't any Pillagers of any variety left in any IS stockhouses; the design is completely extinct in the IS until HildCo starts up manufacturing again & reintroduces the design... in 3058.
Simply put, the Pillager ceased to exist during the Second Succession War, and doesn't come back at all until the Second Star League sets out to annihilate the Smoke Jaguars.

And, on top of that, there are only two Pillager variants (the PLG-1N & the PLG-3Z) from the 3058 reintroduction of the chassis until the introduction of the PLG 4Z (which requires the IS ER Medium Lasers & Stealth Armor - equipment not yet in MWO, and not due to be introduced for quite some time) in 3064; since a 'Mech chassis needs to have at least three (3) timeline-appropriate variants to even be considered for MWO, the Pillager is simply out-of-the-running unless & until PGI advances the MWO timeline to the mid-3060s.

hope they finish the animations properly if it is.
no more x-rebirth broom up the behind syndrome and toes that don' t bend, skating along mechs lik the clan ones. Really offputting.
