Line of Sight stealth ( not seen by any mech useing line of sight ) ( things that can improve this
1. use effective cover
2. fire and smoke nearby to mask your heat signature and block or blur there standard vision )
Radar stealth ( not picked up by radar by Ecm measures of some kind or other eg. http://www.sarna.net...rdian_ECM_Suite )
Playing dead ( two methods to do this
1. Null Signature System – Allows the pilot to appear shut down for 5 seconds
2. Full Mech shutdown till they pass and pray they dont see you
please add any other known Mechwarrior tech that improves Stealth or any other ideas on tactics for stealth that could be helpful

The introductory vignette for the Trebuchet, Mech 13 reveal says the pilot shutdown in order to avoid a missile salvo.
Based on these two points, I think it would be in the game and usable ... just not sure how effective it would be.
I think I remember one of the mech/pilot skill trees (see role warfare ... Dev. Blog) had something to do with shutdown/restart times ... that could play into tactical advantages very nicely.

You sir, must not be a scout.
But even tho it might be fun to have an invisible mech sometimes, I don't really want one.

At the end of the Third Succession War when Lostech was rampant, House Liao managed the unlikely feat of developing the RVN-1X Raven, an entirely new BattleMech design that was to serve as an electronic warfare and countermeasures support on company or battalion level. It was a testbed for new electronic warfare components which was usually only referred to as "ECM Equipment".
In its envisioned role, the lightly armed and armoured Raven was to stand off in engagements and identify targets for artillery and indirect fire at longer than usual ranges, and to degrade enemy electronic warfare techniques. However, revolutionary as it may have been in its time, the experimental equipment proved to be too heavy and not sophisticated enough and did not live up to expectations when it was prematurely rushed into service in the Fourth Succession War.
No game rules were originally provided for the Raven's ECM equipment. However, non-canonical rules were provided in the German edition of the Solaris VII: The Game World boxed set. It had been expanded to contain rules for the "ECM 3025" as well as additional 'Mech sheets that had not been in the original english version. The rules were identical to the (equally non-canonical) Apocryphal rules previously published by the MechForce Germany.
Tactical Operations rules now refer to the Raven's ECM suite as EW Equipment, providing definitive rules some two decades after the first appearance of the 'Mech.
As the Raven evolved, its electronic warfare equipment evolved as well and was eventually phased out in favor of (or evolved into) more efficient modern systems. As of 3050, the line model RVN-3L mounts a Guardian ECM Suite, a Beagle Active Probe, a Target Acquisition Gear and a Narc Missile Beacon in the place of the original equipment.
these came out long long before the jihad era
Stealth is essential for scout mechs to perform there roles effectively . and yes its not a klingon stealth pac that turns you invisible thats just lame ecm jamms signals so even if spotted the spotter cant transmit where you are to other mechs .
I don't believe the null signature system will be in the game (at least not for awhile) since it's LosTech
its already been posted by the developers that it is in game under scout mods

I don't think he's asking for a stealth system, just listing ways 'Mechs can be "sneaky".
'
Exactly ways to effectly make your mech hide and be sneaky since saying stealth brings up the idea of invisble to people to much.

Well Passive sensors can be jammed or scrambled we even have this tech today and have used it in warfare for decades i highly doubt that almost 1000 years from now they would stop learning tech countermeasures on intel gathering

He's not talking about the Null-sig tech, he's talking about the pilot module, which they are currently testing. Read the dev blogs.
Everything the OP listed is announced as being in-game currently: the pilot module is a 5-second Null-sig in the scout tree, not the 3062 technology; intentional shutdown is confirmed . . . and uh, terrain? Do you guys actually read?
He's looking for conversation on using announced systems for hiding, ambush, etc.
