Just don't run circles. If it looks like the team is going to be doing that, by either base are places you can hide until things stabilize and make your contribution fresh or make a stand in a place that forces the enemy to show itself at more than optimal firing ranges for most DW builds.

You basically have to tell a lot of clueless pugs dead set on playing the circle game on caustic and river city exactly how many assaults they will lose playing the idiots game. Its almost always 2-3 DIrewolfs, so they are willing to give up 300 tons of mech to try to catch the other teams assaults. Fools errand comes to mind.

No, I never hide and power down. I'll usually make some comment, but the rest of the PUGs tend to ignore it. So I just run in reverse in exposed spots since it's not that much slower. I usually take out at least 1 or sometimes 2 mechs doing that.
