Title says all. GH must be nerfed at half for IS weak weapons. Due IS vs CL assault in game.
Plus IS need at least few more Assault Mechs and few more weapons such as Binary Laser Cannon... cause single cored large lazor is not enough.

Why would you want the binary laser cannon? It is two large lasers strapped together but weaker. It drops 1 ton and loses about 6 damage compared to two large lasers.

I call BS, I watched a Stalker take 5-6 different DW pilots 1 vs 1 last night and drop them all with a variety of builds against his build...I will not say which build took him down, but I will say it was NOT Dual Gauss/PPC, that build got eaten to death.

Ghost heat only hurts beam weapons, autocannons should generate less heat if ghost heat was unimplimented. LRM heat should be about good.

Because it only uses 1 energy Hardpoint. :)

For the record Ghost Heat has no affect on my Alpha Strike. Except on my Jager40. Ghost heats only affects boating weapons, and is still as dumb as a square bowling ball.

Well then it competes with the PPC. At which point it is trading an extra 2 damage for 2 tons, beam duration, and 6 more heat. I think there is a reason the fluff says it was considered a dead end technology.

Implying that we have to use the TT stats for damage and heat of the Blazer.

The end state is necessary, but there are much more clever and sensible ways to go about it.

There is a reason we call it Ghost Heat.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but ghost heat is good for the game. Particularly for small mechs that would otherwise get creamed by 8 Large lasers or 6 PPC alphas.

I can understand wanting to get rid of ghost heat, but damn
remove it from IS mechs entirely?

I've never once seen any mech carrying 8 LL, and the 6 PPC variant was a gimmick/joke loadout that wasn't even common. It was basically a rare unicorn that alpha'd once and sat in a corner doing nothing while it recovered.

The real intimidating Stalkers were the 4 PPC and 2-by-2 Mixed [ER]PPC Stalker, which can be solved by other means (like increasing PPC heat to TT levels and making them do no damage within 90m, convergence adjustments, heat system changes, etc. etc.).
