I like a cupholder, some snacks near the window, maybe litter on a console and a nice screen for online webcam pictures of talking teammates! Why do we have broadband, when we don't use it?!

My list. Yes, I know that too many things will crowd the cockpit. I'm just requesting the kind of things I'd like to see and would potentially use. Many of these were directly copied from other people's lists, because I'm too lazy to type when copying will do:

Hula Girl (and yes, we want to see it move as the mech walks)
Kill Counter (per pilot and per mech)
Uploadable pinup
Uploadable sticker art (personally, I'm thinking Banzai Institute and something from the BlackJack School of Conflict)
MP3 player
Minifridge
faction related propaganda (posters, slogans, etc...)
Prom garter (or wedding garter)
Fan (like you see on the old school buses)
Bottle of champagne in an ice bucket (hey, I'm playing Steiner)
Rear view (mirror, smaller side screen, whatever)
Maps (at least a map-of-the-area-we're-fighting-in).

Speaking of cockpit decorating...

When I was playing MW4:Mercs, one of the pilots, Goblin, had a habit of making small effigies to unspeakable "deities" and smear animal blood on the monitors and windows in alien patterns. He was a weird guy like that, and his decorating antics only escalated should he manage to take a break from sniffing machine oil long enough to actually get a kill.

I dismissed the lance insisting that when that guy is in the group, the usual radio static seems to contain... voices, of sorts... but I eventually stopped taking him on missions after his mech had been struck by a lightnting bolt on three separate occasions. Also, maintenance kept complaining that the stench lingered, even after removing all carcasses from the glove compartment and below the seat.

Where was I going with that... aaah yes.

Pin-ups. We need pin-ups.

One of those stuffed animal toys with the suction cups on the paws to stick on the windows. Garfield was a famous one from way back.

Real-time webcam pics might slow things down, but the ability to get them to record 10 seconds or so of video and to then share it pre-match (or select from a whole list of pre-made ones) so that you can see who's talking would be good, but they don't have in-game comms, AFAIK...

The junk on the console sounds about right for my mech though...

I notice a lot of talk of uploadable customization (of which i am not exempt). Perhaps there should be an option of turning your character's head, and not just the mech itself?

Add my votes to Picture, something we upload or just a picture, a kill counter, Hat with rank and or house insignia, A little bobble-head mech. I just hope we can change it out or not have it if we do not want them.

Actually I'm serious about this. It was very common to see these things on warships and in tanks in WWII. Also
Hesperus II-styled "For your Safety" signage provided by the factory could be very fun! (you tear the bubble wrap off your throttle every time you restart after a major repair job... )
