On a more serious note:

Broken windows after taking damege

sparking wires

smoke

fire

blood

holes from bullets

weather outside

a clock would be useful in my mech

all the controls available to me as a player inside the mech itself

a coolant fluid meter

speed meter

altatude meter

brief discription of each of my weapons from an onboard computer that I can access from inside my mech telling me the strong points and weak points of each of the weapons. (heat, range, damege, role) ect.

Cup Holders and dog tags Maybe they increase with kills too! You know, mid battle you just instantly hop out your mech, salvage whats left of your exploded opponents mech (and probably the pilot himself) grab his dog tag(s), steal any redbull or beer that may remain, run back to your mech, put the beer into your cup holder (most important part) then startup sequence again...all in nano seconds

Nah but in all seriousness as Argama said, dog tag with your name, clan/faction details etc that sway as your mech walks etc ^^

Not sure if you'll get to the 14th page...

But Definitely want the ability to turn off certain HUD features, or move them to separate display feeds.... (I have 6 monitor outputs for data-logging and monitoring for some of my bots and SCADA equipment, it would be nice to have a similar setup to customize my HUD experience for my favorite game. )

BUT if you're talking about things to buy and display....

• Pandora Stream interface (who listens to MP3's now-a-days?)
  
• A picture of our loved ones, to remind us to get out of the pod from time to time and spend time with the family.
  
• I guess if you like those discoballs or other rearview mirror toys, why not?

It has been mentioned a few times. But I would pay $100, hell, I would pay $300 RIGHT NOW just to have access to the data feeds to setup my own hardware the way I WANT to play it. I know what is possible from a programming aspect, but I don't know how y'all are utilizing the Crytek Engine, let alone how multiple input/outputs are handled, but I am dead serious, if given the option, I would pay a license fee just to have access to some API hooks and analytical information. Whatever it takes.

A Radio, so you can play radio channels like they have in EvE (EvE Radio), even some Counterstrike servers have radio on them playing tunes, with an option for a CD player to play your own stuff (or whatever the youngsters call it these days, MP3 player or whatever)
