An in cockpit kill board for the mech being piloted. Obviously you couldn't have kill silhouettes for every mech type (since they're always adding more), but by weight class using carved hash marks, maybe a system of colored dot's to denote very large sums...just something like that for the egotistical ones who like to see the kills they've earned with that mech right there in their face.

In my first car I had a Buddha statue across from a "buddy Christ" (dogma reference) Velcro'd on. Eventually I had a surfboard scent device hanging from the rear view mirror. Then my buddies wife's garter (Supposedly that's what you do if you get tackled and afforded such a "gift")
