you can also put in an achievmentsystem to unlock some stuff for the cockpit (f.e. kill 100 Atlas for a altas-bubblehaed)

Fuzzy dice - hell yes! I'm also thinking it could be some kind of cool unlockables scheme (apologies if others on the thread have hit on this - haven't read all the way through yet).
fuzzy dice for 5 kills, hula girl for 10...etc.etc.
I really like the idea of having a 'taped' picture to the inside of the mech too..would allow for some personalization

I really like the idea of a couple of photos or even a short video clip in cockpit. I don't think it would even be necessary for them to need approval since we'd be the only ones who could see them.

An in game music player would be cool too. Load up an mp3 as battle music and hit the stereo in your mech as you charge into battle!

i think repeats will help them figure out what the most people want. i also think they'll fatten this thread beyond all reason and it'd likely be more productive to start a vote... aaafter finding the most popular ones. EITHER WAY! i'll throw in my few.

for all of these, there 'ought to be a bunch of different to choose from. ''none'' being the most common selectable option.

a custom photo slot (put your own in. family, friends, locations, etc)
various bobblehead/hula girls
some sort of drink
a half read letter from home (maybe dictated by the sender for troops on the front at the local HPG station if they're posted too far)
dried blood
a battered book (if they're still written)
a to do list
propaganda
3rd wall breaking material (battletech rulebooks, and the sort)


ah yeah, and my hats off to whoever takes the time to go through these posts and pick out the ideas, if someone does. thats dedication.
