the desync/lag spike problem is around as much as ever

Same issues : disco, very disturbing rubber banding / teleportation (from as far as from one corner to the opposite corner ! ), with regular 2 or 3seconds freeze, or some very annoying 10-15 seconds of "uncomprehensible teleporting mechs scenes" taking place around the mech cockpit which apparently seem to happen to many people at the same time.
I swear, : I do no do drugs !

I have gotten some strange freezes/mech teleportation across far distances, and seemingly random major drops in FPS with no warning whatsoever.

I run the game in 5780x1080 (3 monitors) and have about 55 fps in the menus and 45fps on most maps with the settings ingame set to High.

Nothing changed with this patch, but to be honest. I have not checked the load on the two GFX cards. It used to be one card doing most and the other just trailing behind. Oh, the mech bay background picture is borked in this patch.. It used to fill the three monitors, now I have 50% of my left monitor with a dark gray background.

I have a adverticed inet speed of VDSL 40/10 but since I'm close to the central I have in reality 50/15
Ping in game is steady around 130.
I live in Norway.

I have had some issues with mechparts missing while playing with DX11, but I deleted the Cache DX11 folder, and sorted out that problem.

I allso downloaded and installed the newest NVIDIA drivers, that did nothing new in this game.

Just had a match on Forest Colony. Game Desynced at around 8 mins left on the clock. As I type this up, the game is still "Moonwalking" at 2 mins left. This has been a severe issue for the past two patches now.
Many matches, I've lost a firefight that I might have been able to swing, if the enemy didn't suddenly get the jump on me.

Still there are catastrophic server lags from about many seconds to 1 minute.

Last time I played Crimson and we all had a lag of about 1 minute. But the game doesnot quit.
After we were "back in the game" I was about 1.5 km away from my last position an many Mechs died
instantly because they run out of bounds !

Maybe this lags are not "highest priority" for the devs, but think about what is essential for "games where you have to shot at others" !!

Maybe low pings and low lags are not the least thing where they should look at.

Agreed. Had really bad desync in a match just now.

I am now unable to play any matches with my recently-purchased Timber Wolves. After clicking on "PLAY NOW" I am met with the following error message within seconds:

An Error Occurred
Failed to find match

I am perfectly able to play any match with any other Mech in my MechBay.

Any Ideas?

My ping is ~10 higher than normal (jumped up from 13x to 14x). I see obvious lag effects, e.g. delayed zooming and teleporting mechs, in almost every match. I also have terrible laser hit registration (compared to nearly flawless hit registration up to ~2 months ago).

The HUD recompilation improved my framerates by 5-10 across the board, except for Frozen ******, which still has terrible FPS drops in the usual places. I now get a clear FPS drop when switching to heat vision (it brings my framerate back to the old values).

It would be great to have detailed control over graphics settings via user.cfg. Players could find out on their own which effects hit really hard on their hardware instead of either disabling everything across the board, or facing a slideshow. However, that appears borked. Ghosting/motion blur is still with us, and advanced parameters are applied or not seemingly at random.

really bad rubber band lag. As reported by Fraps, getting 40 - 55 FPS on average, 1600x900, everything on Ultra except Shadows, Particles, and Post-Processing, which are all on High. 16 GB Kingston DDR3 1333 CL 8, AMD FX-6300 and HIS Radeon HD 7850 IceQ Turbo 2 GB @ 990 MHz Core & 1250 MHz RAM. Boot Drive (Where MWO is installed) ADATA SP900 64 GB SSD, W7 Pro SP1 x64. 18 MB connection from U-Verse, South Florida.Ping ranges between 75 and 115, mostly hovers around 90 or so. still Desynchs and rubber bands, even with low ping.

Yea since the patch I keep getting an error saying "failed to find a match" I Haven't been able to play since patch, and I hope that they fix this issue soon.

I am getting every game now; some 3-5 seconds lags every 2-3minutes. Must be a bigger Problem with the Servers?

I`m getting very bad fps ( around 12 atm) - haven`t played for a month - before it was around 60/70 fps - Heres my setup - note its SLI:

Havent changed anything from driver side.

Tried the workaround and reset the settings - it didnt fix the problem

1 MBt Upload
Ping is around 162 (not good - I guess )

Hamburg, Germany

Performancewise I can tell other Games run fine - 3D Benchmark scores my Rig in the best 13%.

Last night was the worst I had in a while again.

08-01-14, back to back matches on 2 different map between 10:45 and 11:00 PM CST the server disconnected me. Short lag spikes all around this time as well ranging in length.

100 meg connection and worst ping I see in upper 70's usually.

fully half my drops today have had lag/desync problems

its far worse now, after whatever "fix" was in the patch, than before

game is nearly unplayable...well, when the desync's happen it IS unplayable, and is wasting premium time

Two drops just now, one dc and the other saw someone else dc near the start and had to kill a lagging/rubberbanding Hunchie.

The (at long last) upcoming CW Phases will be meaningless without decent servers to play with.


(UPDATE: A few hours later...Server lost at startup, okay 1st match, but got kicked out of 2nd match and I was not the only one that got DC'd. Hopeless.)

FPS drop!!!!!!

I went from a completely playable game to periods of severe drops in FPS. It is not all of the time. I usually run around 60-90 fps but there are times when I am getting 10-20 fps in critical periods of the match.

I will run the patch again and see if this helps. Otherwise I have no idea what you broke this patch but I can't play the game now.
