Why not just strip all modules from mechs in preparation for the new system?
This is going to confuse people and there should have been a message in the patch notes to warn people it was being handled this way.
To fix one mech you must go into the mech lab, save it (which takes an age for anyone with a lot of mechs), come out of mech lab and go back in to mech lab.
You need to do this for every mech you have modules equipped on.

had just about enough i think - not spending 15 minutes per mech to redo modules
go in strip modules save mech 5 mins
then quit log back in another 5 mins
another 5 mins to replace modules n save
