i had a seismic sensor, sensor range, and enhanced zoom on one of my TBRs, and when it told me to fix it, i went to do so, it said the modules were stripped, but they don't show up anywhere.

I PAID FOR THESE. please give me back my modules!

worked after saving. which was odd, it makes it seem like they're stuck in a limbo somewhere before they are listed in your inventory

I can not believe how inelegantly this has been handled.

Why not just strip all modules from mechs in preparation for the new system?

This is going to confuse people and there should have been a message in the patch notes to warn people it was being handled this way.

To fix one mech you must go into the mech lab, save it (which takes an age for anyone with a lot of mechs), come out of mech lab and go back in to mech lab.

You need to do this for every mech you have modules equipped on.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry :(

Similar to other invalid loadout issues where stuff disappears until you save and/or relog. This points to lazy buffer flushing.

Just go Configure --> Strip Mech --> Strip Modules on any invalid mech, problem solved.

The client fails to update the new inventory with the server. After saving the mech just log out then log in again, the missing items will appear in inventory.

I still would be cautious using the "Strip" function.

Wasn't UI 2.0 supposed to prevent these kinds of things from happening?

I saved, closed and even restarted and my 6,000,000 CBill radar deprevation module is gone, *poof* nowhere to be found. Lostech I guess.

i'd need a power pole everytime i go near this game

had just about enough i think - not spending 15 minutes per mech to redo modules
go in strip modules save mech 5 mins
then quit log back in another 5 mins
another 5 mins to replace modules n save

No. They are just easier to fix. Translation: PGI can allocate even less resources to performing those fixes.

It was in the patch notes under "known issues".

If your radar-derp is still missing you should contact support, they will give it back to you.
