Bryan has already responded to this weeks ago in another thread. It doesn't affect them as they have moved on from Crytek support some time ago.

That day was "release" as it is when PGI was required to pay Crytek for using their game engine to develop MWO and they no longer classified them as "a beta product" where they could develop without fees for that time period.

Well, there's little to no chance any CryEngine upgrade to support faster speeds (so that the Lolcust can go above 170kph, let alone debut the Flea) is going to happen.
