Congrats, someone got you some targets and you pressed a button a few times for 900 damage, clearly you are an awesome mechwarrior.

I have a solution and its in line with pgi's recent module changes. So if target is narced any arty/air strike should hit him directly. And its not OP because you can only have 2 and soon only one arty/air strike. Isnt that cool? YES it is!

I know I am awesome, and it is inconceivable that mechs are not dying under NARC.

I fully endorse this. All shells should hit directly. After all, I am spending 40000!

I think ive been NARCd....its when no matter where you go its missile locks hammering you endlessly with no chance to escape and you die to a swarm of 2000000000000 LRMS in 10 seconds? Thats NARC? Yeah, its not UP....its bullshit is what it is...

It should increase Missile lock decay some, give LRM better spread or something, but making it 100% tracking power and letting LRMs practically become laser guided bombs...ugh just no...

did the missiles even hit? he coudl ahve hidden himself quote well enough behind some hills, especially vs the lower arc clan missile,s even in caustic there is plenty of lrm terrain cover

Sounds like bad luck. The last time I ran Caustic with a narc mech I scored 1178 and 5 kills. Would have been higher but I ran out of ammo. Of course I tend to tag my own targets and LRM's aren't about kills, they're about tearing up other mechs so that your team mates have an easier time killing them.

Definite Troll post.

Just about 3-4 days ago, I rolled around a corner on Caustic only to come face to face with a Raven with no other enemy in view. I got a few hit on him, but he managed to get a NARC on me. Next thing I know, from the other side of the Caldera, I am just rocked with wave after wave of missiles. I think I managed to live a whole 20 seconds while I back peddled and twirled around like a ballerina tying to spread damage. I managed a total of 43 damage that match.

Actually what we need is another consumable. Basically a one shot ECM burst that breaks all target locks for 15 seconds.

This would be a consumable I would actually buy.

OTOH if a Narc missile beacon has been attached to an enemy mech for half its lifespan and no missiles have struck it, this should play*:



Seriously, devoting the tonnage to Narc on an light mech (especially an IS light mech), going to the trouble of popping out to Narc an enemy, and seeing.... nothing. Not a single speck of steel in the sky... only to be run down by an enemy light that is naturally more heavily armed because it didn't waste tonnage on Narc...


*Preferably in the cockpits of every teammate that has LRMs. Also, the volume should be doubled if they are within range and quadrupled if they are both within range and are not fighting an enemy.
