The chin turret looks ugly to me, but the idea has me intrigued, so maybe Alex could work his magic. I prefer the double gun barrel look on the arms, but I wouldn't complain if we got chin turrets because they inject individuality into the Mad Dog.
Build-wise the only problems from having the chin turrets is that you can't have 3/4 Large Pulses or 3/4 ER PPCs, which at that point is being effected by ghost heat anyways. You can still do 3/4 ER Larges. The other concern would be the chin turret placement, it maybe too low compared to the arms, or chin turret would have a negative aiming speed that gets rid of some of the synergy with the arm weapons.

Actually, I think the Mad Dog will get arms that are more like the JagerMech or the TT Warhawk - a boxy core with long fingers. The TT Mad Dog basically has Rifleman arms (if the Rifleman were given elbows) on a thinned-out Archer torso and Catapult legs. Since the JagerMech is this game's Rifleman in effect, it wouldn't be a stretch to think they'll handle it this way.
Funnily enough less than a week ago I was talking about how the Warhawk, Stalker, and Mad Dog were the only mechs for MWO that I'd like to use 4 large lasers on. However, I would use the Mad Dog the most since it's not stupidly slow and looks more like the Rifleman IIC. Rifleman IIC was the first mech I ever piloted in any mechwarrior game, and was one of my favorites for a long while when I was a kid (until I got fed up with it walking the same speed as an Assault).
With that said, the original Mad Dog is still my #1 favorite Battletech design and would always pilot a Mad Dog over a a Rifleman IIC.
