i´d say this one... the original design has a problem... it is TOO thin for MWO hitboxes, you know how broken they will be seeing that small hitboxes caused overlapping and stuff alot in the past

It will just artificially be scaled up to be the size of an Atlas...for..."play balance", yeah play balance...no worries...

To fit in with the current clan designs for MWO, my personal preference would be the original MD/Vulture CT square out more like the Mk II in the images above but not to the extent it is, while also using more of the Mk II style STs. Also, let's not kid ourselves, as reusing the Timber Wolf/Mad Cat's arms is a VERY likely possibility. I wouldn't mind this either, however I would prefer the arm be cut roughly in half and angled like the original Mad Dog/Vulture's is off of the Mk II STs. Lastly, I highly doubt we'll see the chin turret, but I'm okay with that personally and feel it would have added more complication than it would be worth having in.

The Torsos of that last picture is pretty much what I would like to see as a hybrid between the original and Mk II.

I think Mad Dog and Hellbringer are good candidates for a second wave of Clan mechs. I like to see the Executioner and the Ferret also. I also think the IIC mechs (Star League designs with Clan tech) are primary future candidates, because they don't require a new mech design --- use existing mechs like Hunchback, Orion and Victor --- but fitted with Clan techs instead.

I won't be surprised if there is an incoming pack, two Clan and two IS, announced before the end of the year. Mad Dog, Hellbringer, Vindicator and Mauler are my top candidates.

I do want to see the Mauler ingame, I love that mech. However, I would assume they would release the rest of the other 8 clan mechs in a pack together like they did with the first half. Next ones would be:

chin turret is unlikely because none of the Mad Dog variants extant have one or any weaponry in the CT, anyhow. Not until the "Delt" is released, in 3054, with it's ATM launchers. (money for everyone?)

I did actually mean without the chin turret actually, just the CT part itself is a very nice compromise between the Mk II's boxy look and the original slim design and looks like it would fit in pretty well with the current design for clan mechs.

I love the Mad Dog.

It's going to blow chunks in this game if it looks ANYTHING like a Mad Dog.

Look at the Dragon, Now look at the Mad Dog, Back to the Dragon.

The Dragon is bad largely because of awful hitboxes (fairly bad hardpoints as well, which is less an issue for the Mad Dog), but any way you cut it that thing will be easy to hit a kilometer away.

My reasoning behind the Mk2/MWLL style STs is that without them your CT is basically 80-85% of your hitbox from profile. That and aesthetically they fit in better with MWO's clan design.

I fully support the Vulture coming to MWO.

The Clans need their Dragon.

Except the Dragon seems like it's meant for a brawling style fight, while the Vulture is... A missileboat with some lasers. It would be better to compare to a catapault.

As for people questioning the clan designation: According to sarnia the clan name is mostly meant as a slight against clan wolf. IS call it vulture for both it's looks, and tendency to perch up high, unleash missiles, and come down once forces are softened to finish them off.
