What Unique or Odd Weapons Do You Want To See?

Binary Laser (Blazer): Think a pair of Large Lasers glued together. Takes up less tonnage/space than a pair of LLs but has the disadvantage of higher heat and less damage than a pair.
Bombast Laser: I'm basing this off of the MW4 interpretation. The longer you go without firing this, up to a certain time, the more powerful it will be.
Long Tom: The nasty long-ranged artillery piece with high heat, high weight, high damage, and high blast radius. Should use MekTek's aiming system, since it made them usable.
Flamer: The standard for heat delivery fans everywhere, a classic way to **** off laser boaters.
(Yes, I know the year of availability would be non-canon for some of these, but I'd like to see them EVENTUALLY make it into the game)

The Bombast, though, I like. A very powerful attack that isn't usually instantly available. Only thing I ask is the charging sequence generate some heat. Otherwise you'll just walk around with it charged to maximum all the time (assuming you can hold the charge, anywho). 'Course, if you can't, that's cool too. Makes it a heck of an ambush weapon, but tricky to use once the fight is already underway.

Personally I think adding extra oddball weapons dilutes the experience anyway, the best combat experience is with the standard array of mech weapons.

Well, actually it requires one ton less (9 tons vs 10), the same amount of space (4 crits), and same heat (16) as two Large Lasers. It only does 12 damage, as opposed to the cumulative 16 of two Large Lasers, but that damage is automatically concentrated on a single location and is just enough to blow the head clean off a 'Mech in a single shot (incidentally, it's also useful for thresholding aerospace units).
Amusingly, it was first prototyped by the Free Worlds League in 2812, and almost immediately abandoned as impractical with the limited Single Heat Sink technology of the day. Other Successor States made their own prototypes and did much the same. Nevertheless, the technology was never really lost, and remained technically available throughout the Succession Wars (although it never entered mass production). By 3067, however, the invention of the Heavy PPC renders the Blazer thoroughly obsolete.
Still a fun gun, though; has a lot of character.

Bombast Laser? Yeah, that's nice, if you can wait till 3064.
Long Tom? The artillery piece is too large to fit on a 'Mech. The cannon version of it does fit, though, barely (20 tons and 15 crits).

Fluff indicates that you can't.

Never was, see above. The only way it *might* be possible is with Super-Heavy 'Mechs.
Assuming that it follows the pattern of the other artillery, that is, namely a number of crits equal to the tonnage (30 for the Long Tom). Meaning that it would be split between two locations even on a Super-Heavy.
For the tonnage and space involved compared to the damage, there are plenty of other, better weapons available.
What's next...
PPC Capacitors were introduced in 3060.
RACs in 3062.

Would you please be so kind as to burn in yomi-no-kuni?
We don't like MechAssault in these parts.
And canonically, only the Bounty Hunter (who had a modified PA(L) armour), and the Machina Domini have something resembling that. Effectively making you worse than a Wobbie.
As for the coolant pods, those would just be entering the market.
Machine Gun Arrays are 3068+ only.
So what I'd like to see as a "unique" weapon, is the Centurion.
No, not this one.
The Star League-era weapon system that can shut down an opposing 'Mech.
Probably limited to one per account.
With a slightly more common weapon being the Silver Bullet Gauss (the LB-X of the Gauss Rifles). R&D 3050, introduced 3051, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched.
As well as Fluid Guns, those things are great to add additional insult to your opponent.
Nothing says "I own you" more than spraying paint all over their 'Mech/Cockpit.
'Mech Mortars might be funny as well, as well as a rather rare weapon.
If we'd...
I'd like to see the MRM launchers in the game (seriously, I think they should've been around back around 2400).

Fluid gun- can act like a poor man's flamer, or hose friendlies down in coolant, or spray paint all over someone's cockpit, whatever you want.
Mine dispenser- If thunder LRMs are too obvious, and you'd rather drop them manually. probably would have more options in terms of the type of mine.
mortars- pretty similar to lrms in terms of indirect support usage and tonnage, but hit with the force of srms albeit in smaller salvos than lrms. Also have less ammo per ton. They are largely obsolete, but they are able to bypass AMS systems.
(edit) dammit, Aijou beat me to fluid guns and mech mortars

Would also like to see light guass and hyper AC's back as well.
