You have my support, it sounds like a great medium mech to have.

I don't know if it will be as small as you want it to be, but maybe a bit smaller than the Vindicator?

Either case, I'm interested.

Wind Indicator is actually rather large. It's proportions make it look small, but when it's next to almost anything else? Not so much. Naw I Want it where it should be, between the Firestarter and the Blackjack, in size. And leaning toward the FS9, since it is known for being an overly cramped design.

A mech with similar durability and speed of a Cicada, but with the size of a Firestarter might be a bit too OP. If it was closer to the size of a Black Jack, I could see that being ok.

I'm not saying the size of one. I'm saying that one should split the difference, and err slightly to the smaller, compact size. Getting tired of Medium mechs being bigger than my Jager.

I get what your saying. Sadly I'm thinking along the lines of hit registration in MWO. A 150 kph medium (even with low end medium armor) just larger that Firestarter might get too much of a HSR advantage. That tied with medium armor seems a bit much. That was the only reason I thought a size closer to the BJ was better.

I don't like to take hit reg into account, a mech should be survivable on its own merits, but I am also trying to look at the game we play too.

Still, we can both agree, it shouldn't be big like a Shadow Hawk or Treb.

I've seen it both ways.

Cockpit in front:

Hell, I've seen pictures that look like they literally have it both ways:

But aesthetically, I much prefer the cockpit in front.

original art, was on the front, until the 3050 artist buggered it up. So my cockpit goes where it originally did.

As a hardcore Cicada pilot who doubts I’ll ever get the 3F variant to have a jump capable Cicada?

Darn right I support this idea!

40 really is my sweet spot. For some reason, despite being almost identical to a Cicada, only able to jump and smaller, Jenners and I just don’t mesh. The lack of that bit of armor is all the difference somehow. I believe the Assassin will be –fun- to play indeed.
