Fix for the Summoner? Like competing on a level field of play?
Well, it's pretty much exactly as good as it was in every other MechWarrior game, meaning not very.
It's still a perfectly useable heavy, but it simply doesn't measure up to the top tier ones, or top tier mediums for that matter.
Seriously PGi...a f**king Warhorn for sale? Did you NOT get the feedback about Warhorns a month and 1/2 ago? The majority didn't want them. They aggravating and ruin immersion. AND NO MUTE BUTTON YET!!!!!
I could deal with the few...barely, but now they are going to be for sale and everywhere. You really don't like your custemers, but love their f**king money.Another cash grab from PGI at the expense of their customers.
Warhorns for sale PGI, and no mute button: GO F**K YOURSELVES!!!!
I'd buy a horn. Well, at least I think I would... if it sounded like this:

Me too.
IMO, PGI is happy with the P2T (Pay to Troll) of the Warhorns, that they don't care is it ruins immersion and pisses people off. And they aren't even good Warhorn sounds, just Windows bites. They won't be happy until the battlefield sounds like:

LOL!
I got all eight warhorns and love every one of them.
Content + pays the bills.
New Hero, new skins, etc.
Not a hero I want (or likely ever will), but it marks the Phoenix mechs being fair game for Heroes, meaning we're one step closer to my Locust Hero!
Eh...
The problem with MWO's funding structure is that it is based upon collecting.
There is no way for me to really spend money on the game - I am simply spending money to collect digital products. Worse - these are textured models with animations and various alternate models. This means that the main monetizing method of the game relies upon the most costly of all digital goods to produce and is dependent upon the desire of players to "catch them all" for the foreseeable duration of the game.
The reason to purchase premium time? To make the grind for the next mod or collectible mech less grueling. Once you're done collecting - what's the point?
The reason to purchase a hero? Collecting and -oh- you get better grind rewards.
The consumables are a 'step' in the direction of being able to spend money on the gaming experience (as opposed to a static collection) - but they are in the completely wrong environment in a game that is poorly implemented.
