In regard to the map example: no I don't need a play by play, but *something* would be nice. Wouldn't it be great if you could pull up a thread on the forum and see:

Map Name: Jungle Hell
Terrain: 100%
Asset Creation: 80%
Asset Placement: 25%
ETA: 6 months

I'm not saying this is the ideal model, but wouldn't require much and it would show us where they think they are as well as some of the progress they have made. It would be much better than "We're working on stuff" which is all they will tell us now.

The point is, it has been a long time. A very long time. I would like to see transparency or features. Either would make me happy

This is a great idea... Just show us some of the progress that is being made... keep us interested and loyal to the game, tempt us with what is to come. It wouldn't take much to make this happen... and they could do it for all sorts of features, not just maps.

Why not Spider Hero? Even despite Spider has received proper weapon display in this patch - usually that was done to chassis of previous Hero mechs! The last remaining pre-Phoenix mech w/o Hero variant.


PS Smurphy displays stats for Anansi Spider Hero variant, probably leaked from game files. 1b+1e on each arm, 1m in CT and twin AMS in side torsi. Mobility caps at 6 JJ and 270 engine. No ECM. Looks somewhat P2W... it brings Spider closer to ranks of overt combat lights instead of support/harrasser.

For those wondering at the patch size, I wonder if the better portion of the patch concerns stuff that needs to be in the game to support Unit Creation on the 19th?

Yes, sometimes content that was supposed to come after other content comes out first, instead, and completely turns the game, and this community on its ear. My earnest hope is that PGI has some sort of explanation, or some amazing outcome, for why they're doing things the way they are this past couple of weeks.

We need some new bobble heads. Or maybe a reissue of some old ones like the top hat urban mech. The store is looking rather bare and flags and and stuff like that are lame.

The Plan seems to be under consistent updates as new work is done. Not sure how frequent, but it's certainly frequent enough that I can't catch it lagging behind anything.

I've been keeping, roughly, month-to-month tabs on the numbers, so I can keep my MechWarrior's updated, and there are usually a few changes amongst all of the categories. Being the eager beaver I am, the numbers don't remotely move quickly enough, hehe, but I understand why that is, too, hehe.

Yes, there are things they've not delivered that they said they would, and many of those things are yet to come, I understand, but could they at least give us an explanation for why they failed to go with the awesome ideas they had in Dev Blog #4 to this murderous onslaught of arty and air caused a dual-slot consumables system that is horribly unnecessary, and takes away from my ability to run my 'Mechs with the 'Mech modules I want to have on them, which are not nearly as destructive as the dual-slot system?

Look, I'm not saying that cheer leading, or w hite k nighting is a bad thing, because you're always going to have naysayers and ignorant asses on these forums who do nothing but bad-will, and you're always going to have their opposite. However, for my part, today's patch, and last Tuesday's patch, have severely, and I mean SEVERELY harmed PGIs credibility for continuing the development of this game.

I have a few of the MechWarrior's I game with normally telling me they're getting ready to go away to do something else, because of the dissatisfying things that PGI have done. I think it's not wrong for dissatisfied players, who've likely put hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of hours into this game, and/or have spent anywhere from dozens to hundreds of dollars each, and then get crap like last Tuesday and today, to complain about it. Now, I've always been a proponent of 'if you were dumb enough to pay for it, you need to live with it', and that goes for me, as well, but today the logic of that is squeaking, and it's about to break open.

No chance to log on yet, can anyone please tell me if this patch reset all my weapons groups on all my Mechs back to default again, so I don't drop in a match with nonsense on my display?

It gets updated usually once every other week. Although last week CW was at like 56% and now it's 71% so that's always good :(

There should a feature that any time someone's bitchin' in the forums, a sound file is played at the bitchin' poster's pc of bitchin' betty pretty much bitchin' back.

And don't tell me [startswithBandendswithitches butwasredactedbythefilter] that such bitchin' wouldn't bring a smile on your face. I mean, it would on mine.

I noticed that there are now red "webs" on the front torsos on all my Spider mechs, is there anyway to get rid of that red colour since it detracts from my selected camo patterns (and their said colours)?
