(F), (P), (I), and hero mechs you cannot change camo patterns....

why?

the mech's i want to use the most are the only ones i cannot customize... and in some cases, have to buy a whole new one of the same type...

it make no cents.

Actually, if you purchased those mechs, it made a LOT of cents for PGI. What it doesn't make is sense.

Because they represent a specific event or project. Keeping the paint job keeps them noticeable.

The real answer is probably just laziness on PGI's part.
